This place was recommended by my friend/coworker, so we went there one day on lunch break and it did not disappoint! I tried the quesadillas and it was very good and appetizing. I can say I left full and satisfied. The customer service was great as well. I’d highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic Mexican food!

La sabrosita is my favorite torta after traying it for the first time very flavorful I used to always get the cubana or the tigre with are really good but this tops it for me 5 out of 5

I meant to try this place the other day and accidentally ended up at the drive thru next door which is ok but not great, since then I’ve been really wanting to try La Hechizera. I got the flautas today and they were delicious!! They come with avocado, lettuce, and crema. The staff was very attentive and nice and it was ready very quickly. Will definitely return! My only regret was not having cash to avoid them paying credit card fees.

You won't belive how good the food is. Took my friend and he almost cried because of how much it reminded him of living in Mexico city. This place is worth every penny. 5/5 will come again.

This is my go-to for food if it’s been a long day at work and I don’t feel like cooking. While I’ve had many items on their menu, Tortas are their namesake, and boy do they deliver on it.
First, they are larger than most Tortas I’ve had. I can finish a full one, but my girlfriend can only eat half. Their meats are full of flavor, and do not get lost in the flavors of the other ingredients. My favorite is the Carne Asada (beef fajita) Torta, but if you’re feeling freaky and want to get weird with it, Al Pastor (pork marinated with pineapple & spices) is another awesome choice.
Some tips: if you’re planning on grabbing food to go, CALL AHEAD! They will have your food ready within 10 minutes, so it can be ready when you arrive. READ: hot sauce is much hotter than others, I poured it all over my torta on my first visit... it was almost too much for me, but I love heat. I’d start with a little, you can always add more!

The food was good, except for the kids' items. Prices are far.

Came in for dinner and absolutely loved this place. It was really clean and they got to me really fast. I ordered the Huarache, which is like a huge thick corn tortilla topped with beans cheese and fajita and I got it with lettuce and sour cream. It was very filling and their hot sauce was amazing. I will definitely recommend to anyone in the area looking for authentic Mexican food! Can't wait to try out more of the items on the menu a lot of what is served here I have only seen in Mexico. That is what to me, makes this place one of a kind.

Very nice staff and had no problem ordering in English. The torta was delicious and a large portion.

The best tortas I’ve had! My husband introduced me to the Torta Neza and it’s usually what we get but I’ve also had their sopes, flautas, quesadillas and churros. So far everything tastes great and we’re always satisfied with our orders! They are huge btw, I could easily eat half and be stuffed so be prepared! 😁

Been going here for about 8 years. Their tortas are amazing every time and they have some good Mexican candy selection. The cashier guy is super friendly and they always get my order right. They don’t skimp out on putting ingredients in the tortas. They’ve renovated a few times to make the place bigger but the deliciousness never changed. ❤️

Went in yesterday for take out. I was tempted to get a torta but got a pambazo instead. I’m glad I did it was so delicious! We didn’t wait long for our food to be ready. They have a lot of food options. I like that they have a menu on counter too because I have bad eyesight and can’t see too well. The cashier was just basic not friendly not rude. The green salsa they give you to-go could be better. It was really watery.

I've been eating from here for awhile and it's been really good.. tortas, flautas, burritos.. plus, they have REAL MEXICAN CANDIES!!

Tortas are amazing! Love going to this place. Just make sure you have time to wait for your order when you go or order your food and pick it up. They do take a while to have the food ready. Other than that it is a great place to eat authentic Mexican food.

I have been missing CaliMex food for far too long, but this place definitely satisfied my cravings!! The best asada I’ve had in Dallas!! Willy and Chris were super friendly, had a family owned business feeling. Super delicious carne asada burrito and the pastora torta was phenomenal!!
Make sure to check out the Monfort location!

Great food, customer service, and place overall. Prices are fair to the food being served. I’ve been eating at Hechizera for almost 7 years going on 8. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food. (My favorite is the huarache de cecina)

The huaraches are so bomb! And the horchata is delicious too. The staff was good and the food came out fast, and more importantly hot and fresh. Great prices!
THEY HAVE CHILAQUILES.

Delicious. Something for everyone. The food was served fast and the portions were filling.

Yum!. Amazing tacos al pastor. Salsa isn't my favorite but, it's a preference nothing to do with quality.

Hey all you people!! Hey all you people!! Won't you listen to meeeee!??!?? I just had a sandwich, but no ordinary sandwich!! I had the Torta de milanesa!! It was epic!! :)

AMAZING food!. The look of this place is nothing special, but fortunately, the food is anything but ordinary. I ordered off of Las Peligrosas menu because the items were the most interesting looking. My item was called Doctores. It was a sandwich with pork, ham, cheese, avacado, pinapple and I don't even know what else. It sounds crazy but let me tell you it was heaven in my mouth! For the $7 cost I was more than satisfied. It was one of the most delicious things I have ever tasted and the portion was enormous! My dining companions were not as adventurous. They ordered the tortas con chorizo and tacos con pollo but they both said they were excellent as well. This place is doing it right! I will be making a special trip to this place when I am anywhere near Dallas.

I was pleased with the speedy services and courteous customer service

It is what it is. Thought I would give it a try since there were some positive reviews. Went to the Monfort location and had the huraches combo (al pastor and pollo) and a pollo taco. Ambiance not great, there was one of those cage match fights going on the tv if that is your thing. The cusine is authentic traditional mexican made by earnest people for sure, but there was nothing special about it. The chicken was pretty bland and not worth a second try. The pork had some flavor so I would stick with that. Bottom line, I'm no cook but I can do better than this.

Good solid place. This place is very good, specially if you want something very similar to the Mexican Tortas, where sometimes we Mexicans cram a little bit of everything.
I specially like the "al pastor" pork, either in tacos or tortas. The place is not necesarily very visually apealing, since like any mexican torteria, it is rather tacky. I specially dislike the "America" soccer team motif, but hey, if the owner likes it, what can we do?
One thing that really made me laugh was the very typical sign under the big Mexican witch, about the complain's department. Very Mexico City attitude.

Try it!. This place is definitly worth trying. The sandwiches are big and the variety is awsome. There is something on the menue for everyone.

Variety and sabor!. Great selection of tortas, bordering on overwhelming! Service is ok, but the sandwiches are delicious. Also try a guava drink or a mango licuado.

Great food but you have to.... Great food, good service! This is a place that has to be judged by its quality rather than by its looks. They have awesome tortas, tacos and other Mexican classics! You might want to order to go or pickup if you are picky and want a nicer place, but if you are looking for great, authentic Mexican food, then this is a great choice!

Our last stop was La Hechizera Tortas (5611 Maple Avenue) before heading to the airport. Don't be intimidated by the exterior. The key to these places is walking in and acting like you belong. This restaurant is known for their massive tortas (sandwiches)
