Flying Fish - Dallas - Photo album

Nothing that really blew me away, but every aspect of it was nice. Good look, good vibe, could smell, good food. Loved the portion size and the service was spectacular. Everyone was nice. The scenery was awesome. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5, is the fish (catfish) was fried soft and lacked seasoning. I had to tell them to fry my next batch hard. I had to use lots of hot sauce to give it flavor. They n
My friends recommended this place as somewhere for us to go on a casual Sunday… The weather was perfect so I really enjoyed dining outside… Now while I typically eat as a vegetarian, but I was not going to pass up the opportunity to have some catfish! The calamari and catfish were great… I can be a
The view from the patio facing the lake added a great experience to the already good food. Shrimp taco, grilled snappy rainbow trout, fried catfish and shrimp were all good. It didn’t feel 95F outside on the patio in the shade but it was warm (80F). Highly recommended.

Cool place near a lake. Food was great - we ordered fried catfish & crawfish chowder. The ambiance was nice. Would love to go back here again 🥰
This place is pretty good. We sat outside on the patio. The fish was fried perfectly. I didn’t care for the fries or the margaritas but I would still come back again. I also had the gumbo and that was the best part.
Totally enjoyed the restaurant vibe, and outdoor seating next to Cypress Waters lake. The food is very good and fresh. We ate oysters, frog legs, trout, and salmon. Spring, perfect time of year to sit outside.
