We ate on the deck overlooking the water. The food was outstanding and the view was spectacular. Vacationing in the area next year and will be definitely stopping by again. I highly recommend it.

What a fun place to enjoy delicious seafood with a one of a kind atmosphere! The lobster roll was PACKED with meat from tail to claws. They do put lettuce on the roll and it’s your choice of butter or Mayo on the side. The buck a shuck oysters were delicious, my 10 year old tried her first ever oyster and is hooked. We danced, enjoyed the company of friends, ate and drank, and enjoyed the sounds and sights of the water. We also ordered: quesadillas and fish and chips. Everything was delicious! Damariscotta is the perfect little town and Schooners Landing is a great way to experience it.

Great vibe! Must go if you like outdoor venues to see music and eat and drink. Right on the water. Beautiful. Band was awesome and there's a small dance stage too! Friendly staff. The food was pretty good too. Got chicken nachos and they forgot to put the chicken on them and to bring us our sides but they quickly rectified it and brought us a whole new plate of nachos! No questions- all with a smile. Recommend!

Solid food, pretty good service. They were busy but maybe could use a few more employees. Lobster roll was good but I wish they would add the mayo on the roll mixed in for you. Came on the side and it was hard to put on the roll. Drinks were good and had a nice view and live music.

I had the Shore Dinner (for one) and it was everything I had hoped for!! I wasn’t a fan of the red peppers in the potato salad but it was good. The coleslaw and clam chowder were delicious; the chowder’s potatoes and clams were fresh and melted in my mouth. The lobster needs no introduction. 🤣

Had the broiled haddock with drinks while listening to the live band. Awesome atmosphere and great food after a day of adventure. Potato salad also gets excellent review!

This has been such a great place to go for such a long time. On a good day, it is a bit of heaven, why you come to Maine. Sit on the water, have some good food and drink, some good music, people and great vibes. Lobstah roll and the sliders were great. Chowdah good too.

Fast and easy place to grab a bite to eat. Set up for tourists to the area… by the water. Food was good, not great but good. When you sit outside you order your food at the bar and they bring it out to you. Have to go back to the bar to get additional drinks. The clam/cod chowder was thin but good. Lobster rolls were good but have had better. Good place for a quick easy bite to eat.

Good food and fantastic oysters, terrific location. The service is basically order and pay upfront at the register and then a runner drops the food off. I'm not sure if it works this way inside the restaurant as well because we were sitting on an outdoor deck. The server brought our food quickly, but then never came back. Everyone else got a hot, tasty meal, but I ordered nachos, and unfortunately they were stone cold with congealed cheese. I think they must have been ready way before the other dinners were. Its a fun and busy atmosphere, but once the music started it was a bit loud.

Great place for a casual meal. Ordering is all at the bar, not really a proper sit down restaurant, but the bartender was very personable and friendly and food is brought to your table. Enjoyed local beer and delicious fried seafood, cocktail was decent. Recommend the sliders and the fried haddock. Seating available both inside and outside, but we enjoyed sitting outside right on the water and watching the tide change.

Wasn't sure what to expect when we asked our local friends how the food was and they said, "it's gotten better" but our meals were delicious. We went for seafood by the water close by the campground and the evening provided the perfect backdrop. I had the fried clam plate because I hadn't had them in years. They were whole belly and tender. My husband thought a little too tender cause the breading could've been crispier. He had the fish and chips and the fish was in small pieces which I really liked for the ratio of batter to fish! The best thing though was the clam chowder. I thought it was the best I ever had but it has to do with your preference. It was a thin creamy broth that was soooooo flavorful. The clams were not chewy, and tons of potatoes. Yeah, the service thing is weird to have to order up at the bar but the food came fast and hot. I would go back.

My wife and her best friend had a great time. The food was great. My wife's lobster roll was visibly a lobster roll. You could see the claws, legs and tail. My fried oysters were perfect but, the fries were a little soggy but tasted good. The service is basic. Order your food and sit down and they bring you your food and that's it. Not a biggie for me.

We sat waterside. There was live music. Two in my party had the seafood sliders. All tasty and right-sized portions for us. The only criticism we had was that the rolls were straight out of the bag. They should have been toasted.

Schooner Landing is all about the vibes and atmosphere. Right on the water, they have lovely views and you can watch the tide come in and out. Often, they have live music at nights! Lots of outdoor, covered seating on picnic tables. You order your food and then it is delivered to your picnic table. Their fish tacos were fine, but not knock-your-socks-off good (just 2 for $22), so if you come here, come mainly for the good views and atmosphere where you can also find some food.

Decided at the last minute to grab a quick bite here. We were very impressed with the whole setup! They had live music when we were there, which just added to the atmosphere. Love the deck, views and food! Want to come back and hang out for a bit longer 😉

Probably the best lobster roll I’ve had so far this summer. The local pemaquid oysters were also great. A seal popped its head up out of the river while we were eating out on the desk as well. Was pretty surprised how great this place was since we chose it at random walking down the street.

Such a fun place to eat. Food was great! Had steamers, seafood sliders and clam tacos. Only issue is the food/drink ordering. You order both at the bar. Same person who takes your order also makes the drinks. This made the ordering process very slow.

Fantastic service! Even in the middle of Pumpkin festival the bar tenders were friendly and accommodating. Bloody Mary was exceptional, oysters were so fresh and delicious, lobster roll had a good portion size and was above average.

Delicious food and beautiful spot. One of the best lobster rolls I've ever had. The clam chowder was exceptional! Amazing layers of flavors and not crazy thick. Everything was so good and fresh, along with the fried clam roll, crab cake, lobster stew and amazingly delicious local oysters! We enjoyed our lunch there so much we went back again for a second time. Excellent service and staff too. Can't wait to be back next year.
