Savory Maine Dining & Provisions - Damariscotta - Photo album

We luckily stumbled upon this place while passing through the tiny town of Damariscotta. The restaurant is located in the back of an old church building, facing the water so it’s not easy to spot initially. There are rustic picnic tables out back and a lovely view. I had the vegan Ruben sandwich and
This place makes Damariscotta feel like home. We can’t come this way without stopping by. Simple delicious and fresh food with paintings everywhere and a view of the water. Our fourth time here and we’re fast becoming regulars!
We were out of town on a family vacation and stopped by this place after a fishing trip. The look reminds me of a basement apartment converted into a restaurant. It's quite cozy and charming with beautiful paintings on the wall. I was pleased with the vegetarian and gluten free options. The kids lov
Friendly service and interesting food options, including gluten free rolls. A great place to linger over a meal and enjoy a view of the water.
Grace provides top of the line service, with a heart of gold. The outdoor dining arrangement features a gorgeous view of the bay. The food is fresh and full of life! Sprouting with deep rooted compassion, and work ethic. I highly recommend enjoying a meal at Savory Maine Dining and Provisions, or st
Saturday 5/15/2021 a friend, his dog, and I had lunch at the Savory Maine Dining and Provisions restaurant in Damariscotta, Maine. We sat outside overlooking the water. The owner waited on us. Our lunches were so wonderfully prepared and delicious. We had some food allergies which she managed withou
Doesn't get any fresher... Stopped in between the usual lunch/dinner hours hoping that we could get served. The owner very nicely offered us both lunch and dinner menues to choose from. Our server overheard my wife and I talking about her not really liking the vegetable of the day. When a local farm
Felt like I was at a friend's or mom's house for a home cooked meal. The angel biscuits were terrific, and the burger was super juicy! Great meatloaf sandwich, as well.
We didn't eat there but stayed in Grace's AirBnB room (the one on the first floor... I think she has 2?)... it was clean if small, but for a one night stay it was perfect, within walking distance of everything downtown. Grace also supplied us with the local paper, and all the necessties for morning
Very nice! Simple, healthy ish good food. Really friendly folks. Maybe a tiny bit pricey but that's because the food is sourced locally and absolurely worth the cost. A+! I'll be back!
Why is this place not more crowded? I just had a delightful meal: ramp & fiddlehead quiche with some delightfully herbed potatoes, and marvelous rhubarb bread pudding for desert. The cook certainly knows how to make excellent crusts! Neither too heavy nor too light. A wonderfully peaceful ambience.
It is about the standard. Sustainable organic and local maine ingredients. Lunch was well executed and we look forward to dinner. Meatloaf sammie was grass fed and Delicious. Great haddock chowder... loaded with local potatoes. Others enjoyed the Tempe rubin... quiche of the day. .. all outstanding
Came for lunch, food was great and the server was very nice and attentive. Price was very fair for a farm-to-table style restaurant. The restaurant itself is an old church which makes for a cool dining experience.
Quiet cozy place, everything is made in house, and even has vegan options. Waitress was very nice and helpful. Will definitely go back.
The most beautiful view for an outside lunch and a very sweet waitress. We had the haddock chowder and it was delicious.
Excellent food, good service. Definitely worth the visit. Features organic and local food. Changing specials with vegetarian options. Would gladly come back again.
The food was excellent, though the portions were small for the price. Ian was our thoughtful and attentive waiter.
Delicious food that tastes more like a family meal rather than a fancy restaurant dish. Hearty, savory, and oh so good! Hats off to Grace!
Great place to eat local foods.
