We hadn’t been here in over 30 years- we’ll be back soon. From the greeting by hostess Linda to our server Charle, service was outstanding. Our food- fettuccine in a light olive oil and the eggplant appetizer were superb. Vanilla gelato was also excellent. All around a lovely experience. We’ll be back!

We were visiting Dana Point and found this restaurant on the internet. Had a wonderful wonderful meal! The service was very good. There was a great live accordion player for entertainment. The food was great and very reasonably priced. We would highly recommend that you go there!
Pasta Putanesca was yummy, fresh ingredients. Loved the big olive oil pot in the bar area from their sister B'n'B in Florence, Italy. Minestrone soup was delicious too.
Great place with a gem of deals. Great place for date night or, like us, to treat the entire family.
My steak turned out slightly over cooked but it was still flavorful to the last bite. My lady's lamb chops she described as perfect.
Just wonderful. The service was outstanding, from the host, the bartender, the server, and the Manager/Owner. Prompt, friendly, professional. The food was outstanding. The atmosphere is wonderful. Not big, but nowhere near small. You feel like you are in a quaint Italian village home, converted into an old romantic Italian country bed and breakfast. This a great place to celebrate an anniversary, go on a first date, or an evening out with friends and family. They also have a private room for large parties. I can't wait to go back.
Good Iralian restaurant long time established but now located in the middle of the new development. Great menu with wide selection of Italian dishes typically not found in local restaurants. Fair prices with good portions.

Gracious service, excellent food and a warm romantic atmosphere, perfect for a date, an anniversary or a family gathering. We come to Dana Point every year and wouldn't miss our special dinner at Luciana's (served by the inimitable Oscar). Already looking forward to next year.
Honestly, I'm upset I haven't been here before this year. We've lived in the immediate area almost a decade and it was actually visiting family who made the reservation. The food is wonderful. Cocktails are delicious. Service was top notch. We will definitely be back for more wonderful Italian food soon.
We came here for dinner and the food was amazing, the staff was was extremely friendly. We are not wine connoisseurs or anything of the sort, but the waiter manager to figure out exactly what we wanted and the wine that he gave us was amazing. I also had the martini and it was made to perfection. The restaurant had a good ambience to it that would make a great for a date.
An excellent Italian restaurant, in a casual environment of Dana. The food is just excellent, served perfectly with very attentive staff who were very quick and friendly. Anything you needed was done fast with a smile. Lots of traditional dishes, a lot of seafood. The restaurant has an indoors, outdoors and another outdoor on the corner on a large tent.
I love this place. Everyone that works here is so kind which makes it very special. We make it a point to visit every time we are in Dana Point. We have never had leftovers or tried anything we didn't like. If the weather is nice there is also a nice patio area to enjoy the ocean breeze. I would recommend that you have reservations. My parents have tried to come the night of and it was completely booked about 3 different times.
We didn’t have reservations so they sat us on the patio which was very nice and the heaters kept us warm. My husband had the lasagna and he rated it as a 7 or 8. I ordered the capellini al salto and I gave it a 10. The atmosphere was very pleasant. The prices were kind of high, but what isn’t these days. We will go back again for sure.
Everything about Luciana's was amazing. It's such a charming restaurant. The food was delicious and service spectacular. Although we had a very large group, everything was smooth and flawless. I look forward to returning in the future with my family. Thank you to staff for a memorable night.
Highly recommend! Enjoyed a Mom's Night Out here recently with 3 ladies. We all enjoyed the delicious pasta, seafood, prosecco and atmosphere! Luciana's Linguine is fantastic!
We very much enjoyed this very special little Italian restaurant, Luciana’s. I had a a great Caesar Salad and a fantastic Veal Parmigiana with fresh veggies and a pasta and my girlfriend had a perfectly prepared Gnocchi in a pink vodka sauce. The wine list was great and we found a very nice Chianti Classico Reserva. The Tiramisu was as good as it gets! 👍😊🍷

Great place! We went to Luciana’s last night, Friday! We didn’t have a reservation, we arrived around 5:15, they sat us by the bar.
The expresso martini was delicious so was the carpaccio, I wish the bread was warm.
I had the pasta Luciana with white sauce and was amazing my wife had the veal, both were delicious, the kids had pasta bolognese, it was ok.
We had an amazing bottle of wine!
Great ambiance, can not wait to come back for a date night!
Family owned neighborhood restaurant with traditional Italian food. If you are craving excellent tomato sauces, fresh cheese, freshly made pasta and a yummy glass of wine, this is the place.
A superb wine list, both Californian and Italian, excellent pasta dishes and grilled fish. Great service. In all aspects a classic Italian restaurant
