The food here is fantastic! We love that everything is local and organic, it truly makes for the best quality of food. The sandwiches and omelettes are great lunch and brunch portions. The perfect pita sandwich was awesome with the flavors, the waiter suggested their chipotle aioli with the sweet potatoes and we could have eaten that for hours together. I loved the garden omelette with the goat cheese, so creamy and refreshing! Thank you for bringing this spot to the area and being such a part of the community. We are so excited to try their catering options for the future!!

So enjoyed your restaurant yesterday! The first time I visited your restaurant it was for breakfast and it was delish! So I was now back for lunch. My girlfriend and I started our Cinco de Mayo afternoon with your Mimosas. Then I ordered your Seared Ahi Sandwich with a cup of your chicken, veggie, and rice soup. My girlfriend had your steak salad and soup. We both truly enjoyed our meals. Then we just had to try your desserts, so we ordered a lemon petite four and a brownie to share. We were both in heaven :-D Looking forward to heading back your way to try another one of your fabulous dishes. Your servers were delightful! Cheers <3

This brunch spot is a nice choice for savoring delicious Eggs Benedict and indulging in tasty desserts. The restaurant is excellent and offers an extensive array of breakfast dishes. We ordered the Smoked Salmon and Tuna Eggs Benedict, and I enjoyed the poached eggs and fish. However, the potatoes served with it didn't quite suit my taste. Additionally, I must mention that their eclairs are absolutely delicious, and I highly recommend trying them with a cup of coffee.

Cute place slightly away from the rush of the harbor. Limited parking in this center as there a lot of great restaurants here. This is an order at the counter cafe. They are caterers and a wedding cake shop that also does breakfast. I saw a couple do a cake tasting and it looked delicious. All dining is outside so weather is a factor if you visit.

The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We ordered crab cakes and shrimp tacos, and both were delicious and fresh. They had the most delicious sweet potato fries.

fantastic little cafe set off the beaten path between the Marriott and Dana Point Marina. The food was healthy and filling and the service friendly and quick. Couldn’t have asked for a better breakfast and quiet patio above the seaside.

Great location and such a cute environment. My bff and I got 1 thing and split both of them. We got the brunch bowl and brioche French toast. I thought the brunch bowl would be more small bites but overall everything was good.

Had a lovely lunch here today after whale watching with Ocean Institute. Our server Jerred was polite, friendly and knowledgable about the gluten and non dairy options in the menu. We made several changes to our menu items and each time he accommodated us cheerfully, without ever making us feel we were a burden in any way. We sat outside under a lovely heater that he set up for us. The sandwiches were lovely. As were the gluten free cakes. The only item I didn't care for was the lemonade which I thought was too sweet. Otherwise we had a wonderful meal in a calm and pleasant ambiance. Would definitely visit again.

First time at this hidden Cafe. The outdoor seating was pleasant. The staff was super friendly! I brought my dog with me for brunch and the staff offered to bring out a dog bowl with water. The menu has 3 items for dogs as well. Pictured in my post is the puppy cake. The food was delicious. I got the breakfast burrito and clam chowder soup. The presentation was perfect. I'll definitely be coming back.

Everything was good, and we enjoyed the service. The only complaint I have is that my omelet wasn't an omelet. It was kind of a scramble & the eggs were overcooked with the cheese not melted. Not sure how those two things happen. The veggies were cooked nicely, too. Otherwise? The potatoes were steamed perfectly, and my daughter and friend enjoyed their buckwheat pancakes. Sitting outside was lovely.

Great place to stop and get some breakfast. I tried the French toast and it was absolutely delicious. The truffle fries are some of the best fries I've ever had as they were super crispy and tasted very very fresh.

The food and staff are incredible. Originally it was my sweet tooth that brought me in as a customer because of their incredible Cupcakes! I've tried their Breakfast items and Lunch as well and have come to the conclusion that this place is a true Gem of the Dana Point area.

Absolutely love this place! Total hidden gem. The food is amazing and we just recently found out they do dinner too. Love the outside seating vibe! Super kid and dog friendly. We had dinner there a few months ago and everything was so good! The strawberry salad was insane and all the pasta dishes were really really good! We just recently celebrated our one year olds birthday and normally we do a Whole Foods cake but this year we ordered from What a Dish - the cake was beautiful and was delivered quickly and so tasty - everyone loved it! We'll be doing our birthday cakes here from now on for sure! Can't wait to go back for another great meal and great vibes!

What a Dish is a hidden Gem in Dana Point! Close to the Marina, plenty of parking all around. Easy access by mains streets. The only spot in the shopping complex that offers authentic Patio Dinning! Plenty of Heaters available. Food is Delicious. What a dish is a great restaurant with an amazing bakery. Friendly staff. What else can you ask for?

I recently tried the Apple Brie sandwich and French dip at this establishment. While the sandwiches were decent, they fell short of my expectations. The French dip lacked flavor, and the accompanying dip tasted like plain broth. However, the saving grace was the incredible sweet potato fries, which were accompanied by delicious ranch dressing. Among all the items, these stood out as the highlight. Unfortunately, the overall experience was underwhelming and left me wanting more flavor. I would rate it a 6/10 and likely won't be returning. On a positive note, the service was exceptional, with friendly and helpful staff. Perhaps their breakfast options are better, but based on my sandwich experience, I'm hesitant to give it another try.

Delicious breakfast and excellent service! We had the chilaquiles, huevos rancheros, and breakfast bowl, followed by a delicious brownie. Everything was phenomenal! The staff was extremely attentive and worked together as a team. The outdoor atmosphere was cozy and we love that it is dog friendly! We will definitely be back soon!

Counter service, order inside then sit outside, food was very good. Nice portions. Ordered Beef Dip was tasty, my wife ordered Eggs Benedict, heard no complaints, ordered Bloody Mason, it was huge. Mimosa less so.
