Kawamata Seafood stands out as an exceptional choice for poké enthusiasts. The swift service, even during peak times, underscores their operational efficiency. The culinary experience is elevated with exceptionally flavorful fish, and the ample portions leave patrons thoroughly satisfied. This estab
Absolutely top tier poke. They get pretty busy and can get pretty pricey with all the add ons (they charge for toppings). But the quality is awesome, and the portions are big. One thing to note is they have very limited seating outdoors. Recommend bringer a cooler bag and take it to the beach or a
I've been passing by here for a while now and finally gave it a try today based on the reviews. It's always a good sign when there's a line out the door and a. reasonable wait. I lived in Tonga awhile so I feel I'm a good judge of fish quality/freshness. I got the large bowl with brown rice and ahi
We’ve driven by this little gem for years and it always had a line out the door (pun intended - they have no indoor seating). Today we finally got the chance to try it. We each had a Poke bowl- one with just the Ahi and the other with a mix of Ahi & Salmon. We both agreed the Tuna was the better mea
Super fresh and flavorful! Thought it was a little pricey for all the toppings but still worth it! We added seaweed salad & jalapeños.
[Cabbage and brown rice, salmon+tuna+octopus, original blend, add corn, seaweed] the cabbage tastes bitter, the salmon, tuna and octopus is fresh. The original blend tastes delicious. The price is ok. Each add on cost you 1-2 dollars.
It's alright. If you like your poke simple this is your spot. Their spicy mayo sauce is their star other than that any topping (including veggies) costs between $1 - $1.30 to add. Their "regular" size tray about the size of your palm and their greens base is limited to cabbage. If you like your gree
It is a great spot for delicious poke bowl. I tried the Salmon Tuna poke and loved the fresh fish, tasty sauces, and perfectly cooked rice. Highly recommended!
Simply Delicious !!! Tiny little gem. Quick, easy and fresh. Ordering is easy like 1,2,3 etc. build your bowl. Gets busy at times. Staff is always pleasant. Love that they take CC now, very convenient.
Hands down; The BEST poke bowl in SoCal! Fish is very fresh, great flavors, yummy sides! Everything about this hole-in-the-wall place screams beach-life & deliciousness! Closed on Mon/Tues, be prepared to wait in line for 15-20 mins as locals and visitors alike wait for their fresh meal. Service is
Excellent poke. The quality of the fish is just great. Everything tasted fresh. I usually don't like octopus too much, but the octopus was excellent. Both the original and spicy mayo sauce was excellent. I would recommend getting half cabbage and half brown rice. Would come again.
This place has the absolute best pokey and south Orange County. The quality of the fish and octopus available is very high and in my opinion, a great value for the cost they keep the menu simple yet at the same time several options are available for toppings and choices for pro Tien there are three,
Best poki I’ve ever had and soooooo fresh. Wouldn’t be surprised if they catch the fish fresh every day, it’s THAT good. They don’t have indoor seating but it’s better without it, more beach vibes and less corporate. Price isn’t cheap but it also isn’t crazy expensive. Its definitely more then worth
Best poke around hands down! Fish is super fresh and the portions are generous! Definitely got the Hawaii vibes going there! Absolutely love this place!
Okay so I searched this place out looking for some simple seafood. I arrived and there's a huge line out front. Oftentimes that turns me away because I don't have patience to wait in long lines. But there wasn't much else around, so I decided to venture as I drove here from Santa Ana. The menu is sp
A tiny little alcove tucked away in a residential neighborhood. The prices are reasonable and so the toppings are scant with some Vidalia onions and cucumber. There are some tables to dine outside and really it is a no frills serve which is great. The only small thing though is they do not provide w
Best poke I have had outside of Hawaii! Not one of those gross "Chipotle style" assembly line poke places that have become popular selling low quality fish. Kawamata serves poke like you get in hawaii. Super fresh and high quality fish. Rice is seasoned perfectly. Hawaiian canned drinks, a few other
Their poké is amazing. I almost always get the tako (octopus) poke along with others since it's so tasty. Got the ahi tuna, salmon, and tako poké. Asked for avocado which is extra but they give you so much of it. This place is run by mom n pop shop deal so they are very friendly and the portions are
