A group of 7 of us came for a late lunch on a Friday afternoon. No one had been here before. Our leader chose the place based on reviews, but we were not sure what to expect. It was not really fancy inside, but we enjoyed looking at the numerous vintage movie posters that decorated the walls. Since we were later, the place was pretty empty. The service was a little slow, but this may have been due to reduced staff after the lunch rush and our larger group. The waitress was very attentive and helpful as we made our meal selections. The prices were reasonable, and the portions were large. Two people could have shared one meal if they weren't heavy eaters. I got the roast beef, Ortega, and cheese sandwich. I took half home for my husband. It came with a choice of one side. My sister and I shared our sides. I got the salad, which was a huge dinner size, and my sister got the onion rings, which were large and plentiful. Everyone seemed more than satisfied with their meal, and there were many leftover boxes taken home. We asked for separate checks, but they have a limit of 3 checks per table, so we had to do a little math on our own. We had a very pleasant lunch with good food and good friends. I will definitely come back here with my husband when we are in the area.

My boyfriend and I went here on our anniversary. We ordered the French toast and chicken fried steak. Both dishes were delicious and classic go-tos for us for breakfast! The restaurant was busy but we walked right in and got a table!

Old school diner! Love the ambiance and the the old movie posters and movie star pictures. Same enjoyment in their Sunset beach location. You want a good hardy burger, fries and shake. This is the place! Remember, "Life Is To Enjoy"! Have fun!

Awesome!!! Cool movie posters and Marilyn Monroe photography, food was outstanding... Bacon and eggs over medium, chorizo and avocado on the side, hashed up with coffee... Dana Point!!!

Cheap for the area, which is great. Atmosphere is cute. Service is terrible. At 9pm very few customers were there, and a waitress just standing at the counter made eye contact with me several times and ignored, took like 20 minutes before anyone came over to take pur order. Food came out fast. The fried chicken sandwich was the worst thing we had, it's like a large reheated chicken nugget, not fried chicken. The tuna melt came in second, it was extremely bland and watery. The patty melt was by far the best of what we ordered.

I absolutely love the atmosphere of this place. Its always bustling but not so busy you won't be able to find a table. It reminds me of the small family owned restaurants in Montana. Breakfast is served all day and their shakes are delicious! I am pretty sure they hand cut their fries, so crispy. I think this resturaunt is a must for anyone around the Dana Point area

Good diner in main area of Dana point area. Good vege omelet with avocado. 12.95 so a little pricey for omelets. But near beach so everything higher. Has 50s diner feel with lots of bench seating. Popular with locals. Coffee 2.95 ...coffee is getting too high everywhere lol

Great place to eat, it's open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I always recommend people visiting Dana Point to visit this restaurant. Whenever I am there, breakfast, dinner, doesn't matter, it's always a chorizo omelet. They are always generous with cheese and use quality ingredients. Lately, I have been eating their delicious bacon-wrapped onion rings.

Harbor House is a coffee shop with a quaint atmosphere, good food and nice employees. Breakfast is served all day which is a plus for me. I had the Eggs Benedict and it was good. I love Eggs Benedict so I'm a little critical in my opinions on them and I have had better. My only real complaint about the place is that the booth seats were pretty tight against the table, it felt odd. But I would go there again.
