The best restaurant on the west coast! I've never had anything I didn't like at The Wine Bistro. They put a twist on classics like chicken with blue cheese waffles and flat iron steak with butternut purée. The service is great-the staff is so friendly and the chef walks around and greets everyone. If you like a restaurant with a relaxed feel and a combination of delictable flavors, this is the place for you!

Absolutely one of my favorite local spots in Dana Point! Not too busy (sorry Still Water). They have amazing prices on food and drinks! And a darn good happy hour set up! They have amazing brunch options with bottomless mimosas! The most amazing thing about the mimosas is that they fresh squeeze the orange juice into a small carafe and serve a FULL glass of champagne! So even if you just want a quick night cap or hours of fun The Wine Bistro and Whiskey bar is the place to be!

Bitstro provincia has replaced and definitely surpassed the wine bar. The menu and service has improved tremendously. Everyone needs to come in for the tapas hour. I will reccomend this place to everyone

We go there often, their staff is very friendly and helpful, the food is awesome. Weekend brunch is very good, international Mondays are great! Pizza and beer Tuesday, Whiskey Wednesday... it’s just a fun, good food and drinks, great staff.. General manager Bret is awesome, Chef John does great food. Atmosphere is relaxing and fun. My favorite choice for Dana Point!

Surf and turf steak and lobster for $29 can't be beat! The price blows away any competition in town by roughly 30% and the cut of steak and lobster tail are much larger. Such a value! This place is great for a date night or just to stop in and grab a solo cocktail. On weekend nights they have live entertainment that is perfect for the ambiance. The chef there, John Byrne, is constantly adding specials to the menu and once a month features a specially prepared meal from a different country every time and is perfectly paired with a wine chosen by the chef. Often the chef will visit the tables to check on the satisfaction. This makes you feel like a valued customer. Also a great place to enjoy a brunch with friends! Also if you have a large party of over 20 they are very accommodating in reserving a spot to fill your needs. The staff are all very professional and the service is quite excellent! Things I love: 1. Service 2. Price/value 3. Surf and Turf! 4. Live entertainment 5. Cocktails/wine selection 6. Ambiance 7. Desserts Things I dislike: 1. Hoping they make surf and turf permanent even if they need to raise the price $5 2. I don't like that it's not always packed because in my opinion it deserves to be however I'm also glad that it's not because it guarantees that I will always have a place to sit upon arrival. 3. I wish they had a larger selection of whiskey based cocktails. 4. Not too much to dislike. Update: Unfortunately they have closed since my original post.

Nice place and the food is pretty good. Happy hour isn't all that great. We typically still order 'Shareables' off the regular menu. Definitely get the bacon+gouda dip and the the house-made chips with sriracha & blue cheese sauce. So good! Not super busy (at least the 3-4 times we've gone) during happy hour, so it's a good quiet place to hang out.

I got the classic breakfast and Damn, it was SO good. Those potatoes are seasoned so deliciously, and the bacon was freaking perfect. The service was a little spotty bc we were with a huge group, but overall, I'd definitely recommend foodies and brunchers to check this place out. Plus $15 bottomless mimosas??? What's not to love?!?

Awesome visit Saturday morning with some friends. The Fried Chicken and Waffles was amazing. They have a nice dog friendly patio and large indoor bar. Glad to live within walking distance of this place!

This place was really good. The food was good and so was the wine. Very casual atmosphere and we had a big group and they had no problem accommodating all us including kids.
