i know this place is a steak house and anyone who knows me they know i am not a fan of steak but Chuck's seafood is phenomenal. there scrod and crab cakes are the best in Connecticut.
The food and waitress staff were excellent the chef perfect got our meals right to the TI can’t wait to go back
Awesome place and atmosphere. Went for my birthday dinner, everyone was satisfied with service of our waiter and need I tell you the salad bar.....to die for. Definitely making more trips here.
Our server, Jack, was wonderful. Table of 6, just before 6. Early bird special rates were very reasonable, food was very good. Salmon, crab cakes, pasta primavera - all enjoyed. Will return, certainly. Ps - great spicy bloody marys!
I haven’t been here in a while and went with a friend. The waitress was very friendly, respected my “no straw please” request, and checked in regularly. The food was very good!

I took my two kids and parents for lunch. The waiter was very funny and friendly. Always love salad bar. My parents ordered medallion which was the right amoint. I ordered fillet and I regretted that I didn't order NYStrip. I really hoping they offer creamed spinach. The waiter let my son use the register and he was so happy to bring the bill to me, but the waiter gave it to my son lol
Food is always delicious and consistent. Love this place. Have been going for years. Can't beat the prime rib and lobster tails combo. Best around!!!

We were meeting friends today whom we hadn't seen in person in over a year. It was such a happy occasion as one of the gentlemen had been battling cancer and heart failure. We were all naturally focused on our friend and less on our server who was trying to provide the best service possible.
He quickly figured us all out and assured us he go at whatever pass we set. Eventually we cooperated and placed our orders for drinks and lunch and Elrick kicked into action.
We helped ourselves to the excellent salad bar and as were finishing up, the entrees were fired up and appeared shortly after the plates were cleared from the salads.
Next came the main courses and each and every one was perfectly prepared and the perfect temperature. I had asked that my french fries be extra crispy. I always do. For the first time ever, I had perfectly prepared fries.
We were the simplest of customers and Elrick danced with our distractions. Each and every request or changed was met with a genuine smile and the assurance that everything would be as we wished.
When you go to Chuck's, be sure to ask for Elrick. He'll make your dining experience as Fabulous as possible. Bravo Team Chuck's. Bravo Elrick!
Fantastic establishment. Wonderful staff coupled with great food and fantastic ambiance make this destination, one that should not be passed by. I'm only sorry that I did not get here sooner.
Loved every single thing that we ordered. The wait staff were all great. Excellent food and service! The salad bar is well worth the $6.00 my burger was delicious and the chocolate truffles... yum! Will be going back next week.. :)
Had my baby shower there on Sun afternoon. It was beautiful. The staff was excellent and went beyond our expectations. The food as ALWAYS was fresh and delicious! They were organized and extremely professional. Would highly recommend Chuck's steakhouse!
One of my favorite old world steakhouses. Great salad bar, terrific steaks, excellent staff, generous pour from the bar … it feels like you’re back in the 70s, but in a good way. Love this place! I recommend it without hesitation.
I had a wonderful surprise birthday party at Chuck's Steakhouse! Rich, who was in charge of service for the party, was so nice and attentive to all the guests! Everyone enjoyed the food, not one unhappy person! Highly recommend Chuck's!!
This place is a Danbury institution for a good reason – they make a great steak plain and simple! I always get the 7 ounce filet, medium rare, and it’s always juicy, tender, and well seasoned. The place is a total time capsule, but that’s also part of its charm. It’s one of my favorite spots!
We went to Chuck's for graduation celebration!!! They were able accommodate a party of 9 without a problem!!! The food was excellent and everyone liked their meal!!! The service could have a little faster.
Very busy and still great service. Salad bar was freash and well maintained. Fish and chip's were good .nice atmosphere and would recommend for small or big gathering
