Had a wonderful evening with our party of 14! The staff was welcoming, engaging and so attentive and the food was equally fabulous! We had cheese and charcuterie boards, artichoke fondue, truffle fries and yummy cookies, along with the awesome beehive cake! Great wine and beverage selection too! This is a little gem in downtown Danville and highly recommend. I can't wait to go back for Mother's Day! ❤️❤️

Those that haven't been to Basque Boulangerie in Danville are missing out and need to come! As a born and raised Sonoman and a patron of the first Basque, I was so excited when a little bit of my hometown would be coming to Danville! Farm fresh deliciousness, pastries and cakes that delight, bread baked fresh daily, it's a true gem! Basque in Danville has a quaint and relaxing atmosphere both inside and out on the patio. Our most recent visit included great service coupled with a flavorful meal. It is without a doubt the same wonderful quality that Sonoma locals have enjoyed for so many years and consider a town favorite. We love supporting family-owned local businesses and Basque is at the top of our list!

After a 10-year absence from Danville, I visited there today and was delighted to find the old Danville Hotel, which now houses the Basque Boulangerie. We decided to have lunch. I picked a 3-cheese grilled sourdough sandwich—scrumptious! I would recommend it to anyone for a varied and delicious menu. Also a wonderful array of pastries, all in a country kitchen setting.

What a great find! Located in the Old Danville Hotel the dinner menu has great variety. Petaluma Chicken was so juicy. The special tonight was Citrus Chicken on a bed of fresh greens, feta, tomatoes, olives and a light homemade dressing. Dessert of Cherry Custard Pie was just delicious. Currently open for dinner Thursday thru Saturday. They also serve breakfast and lunch 7 days a week. Try this gem of a restaurant!

Discovered the Basque Boulangerie in the historic Danville Hotel today for a late lunch. A fresh and charming spot. Everything on the menu looked appetizing. Decided on the sirloin burger with shoe string fries. It was great! When you go, do not forget to try a fruit "shrub" and the Bee Hive cake!

Very pleasant spot for breakfast or brunch. Delicious latte. Croissant was not as flaky as it might be. Service was relaxed and cheerful, perhaps a bit slow.

Lovely location both inside and out! I wish I lived closer to Danville because there’s so many aesthetic places like this one! The gentleman who supported me with my decisions was personable and expedient. I really liked my lemon poppyseed muffin and I love how rustic my blueberry scone was. Seeing the other things on the menu, I’m 100% certain I could come back many times and always get some thing of surprise and delight!

Stopped for a coffee and scone with family. While I liked my Americano, my wife did not like her mixed coffee drink and left it untouched - but a couple of days before she was there and the drink was amazing, that is why we came in. The Tiramisu was great and everyone loved it.

Food is delicious across the board. Enjoyed a cappuccino with the breakfast burger and was eyeing my wife's chorizo breakfast burrito. I'll have to get my own next time...

I had a muffin and a really good mocha. I wanted to order more but the kitchen was backed up and I didn't want to wait 30 + minutes. Staff was really busy and still very kind and polite. I'll go back at a time when not as busy. Nice patio in the back off the busy street. Thank you for being there.

I've been here a handful of times, the first time was by chance during Covid. We met the owner and fell in love with this cozy cafe. We've since brought numerous friends and family here. Breakfast and lunch or just a coffee are always great here. Basque will always be a favorite in downtown Danville, really can't go wrong with any food choice!

Update: improved friendliness, atmosphere, and process for dinner. Absolutely exceptional food. Five star food - excellent breakfast menu for every kind of eater. Recommend breakfast salad, avocado toast. But order at the counter service, feels chaotic. Could be improved, but it's great if you know what to expect.

The best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had. The service was amazing the coffee is really good. You can tell they make everything on site the bakery items are fresh and yummy. This is a family run business and the owners were really nice and really gracious. 10/10 recommend over Starbucks and Pete’s. Fantastic local cafe!

Love this place and ALL of their food. The fresh squeezed orange juice, the breakfast sandwiches and the goodies (pies, etc.) are all amazing. They make a great latte too and the owners are always there, working hard and making their customers feel welcome.

We went there for breakfast this morning and ordered omelettes with side of bacon and some pastries. We had the almond/peach scone and it was amazing. I am a chef and know great, real food when I taste it. This is the real deal and everything is homemade! Totally worth it and can't wait to come back for lunch and dinner! Ambiance is inviting and decor beautiful! Coffee is even organic! Good stuff!!

Beautiful place in Dublin downtown. Went there for brunch on Sunday and had wonderful experience. They have very good choices for brunch, lunch and dinner. Staff is very friendly and so is the service. It looks like owner has put a lot of thought in designing the place.
