Yet another delightful dinner at The Schoolfield! I had scallops, in our party said the crab cakes were the best ever. Service was impeccable. It’s our go to special occasion place. So wonderful to have fine dining here in Danville.
Visiting from FL and wanted a good steak dinner. This restaurant didn't disappoint. The mashed potatoes were the best and the staff was so friendly. It is small and intimate. Exactly what we wanted. Thank you so much.
This is one of the only true fine dining restaurants in Danville. The service is exemplary, the environment lovely, and the food is good, although in general the entrees seem a bit overpriced. Definitely worth a night out, and they have a brunch that we'll try too.

Went there for our Anniversary. Disappointed! Slow service, vegetables were cold!, scallops were not cooked properly! NOT a good value for the amount of the bill!!
This was one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences I've ever had. I wanted to take my husband somewhere nice for his birthday and had heard great things about this place. They were amazing!! Stayed opened late for 3 ladies traveling that needed to eat!! The food was AMAZING!!! THANKS TO THE CHEF AND WAITRESS!!! The owner has great stories and kept us girls laughing!!!!
We found this place by accident but we found a hidden gem! The place was amazing from the decor to the low lighting and smooth jazz music. The staff was friendly and polite. The food was superb, crab dip starter then filet, cooked to perfection (MR), with asparagus and mashed potatoes. My wife had
