Old Vilnius Cafe - Darien - Photo album

Grand Duke's (63rd & Harlem) little brother/sister! I had a Groupon from the place that was nearing expiration - the only reason I hadn't gone is that it's kind of far and inconvenient for me. But knowing that the food would be along the lines of the Lithuanian food at its sister restaurant, I knew
Absolutely love Vilnius! A friend of mine is Lithuanian and he and I come here all the time for some legit Litho food. I'm always getting Zeppelins because of how tasty and filling they are, especially for their low price!
Went with my Lithuania friend for lunch. It was a wonderful experience. The waitresses are nice. The atmosphere was good. Most importantly, the food was DELICIOUS!!!!
I'm not Lithuanian. Not at all. I know practically nothing about the country or the culture. But this food was freaking delicious, and Inga was wonderful to us! 10/10 will return.
We ate dinner there and then we shopped in the gift shop which we bought some blackberry wine dinner was awesome I had mandarin orange salad we also bad potato pancake appetizer and the little donuts with Nutella sauce and strawberry sauce we are definitely planning another dinner there
Love bringing my father here who is 100% Lithuanian. He speaks Lithuanian with the waitresses and loves that he can brush up on his native tongue. The food is fabulous. Go expecting a heavy meal. And huge portions.
Initially got some food that was over 50% fat, but they were quick to fix it and apologized. If you want to see and experience the Lithuanian culture I dont think you will find a better spot in the United states.
Wonderful staff, great food, giant portions, large variety. Traveled 2.5 hours each way to try it out. Way worth the trip. #LithuanianProud #Lietuva
Great food and good service. Don't be in a hurry when you come here though. There is also a store attached to the cafe.
Small, cosy little place for Eastern European food mostly Lithuanian. There is food from other eastern Europe and parts of Europe also. Service is good and the food is tasty and gives a homely comfort. Food is not expensive and easy on the budget. The only reason for deducting a star is because of t
A very nice Eastern European food store with Lithuanian, Russian, and Polish specialties, baked goods, frozen sections, herbal remedies, souvenirs and crafts and many other useful things.
Food was good , though some things are an acquired taste .
Unbelievably good, and very unique for the area. Everything is homemade and delicious. My favorite place around.
I came here with a few girlfriends when we were wanting to try something different to eat. Everything we had was delicious and very fresh. The staff was very helpful in explaining dishes to us and guiding us what to buy. We also got beer and cookies at the store afterward to bring home to the husban
The food was FANTASTIC!!! The waitstaff was lovely, the atmosphere was warm. The only minus was the music. Too loud, and a lot of hip hop for an old world restaurant. More authentic music would have been much nicer to dine by. Otherwise, I can't wait to go back!
Wonderful Lithuanian restaurant- Went way beyond expectations! It has a retail area with many eastern Euro items and specialty foods/wines/ deli. Dining rm has approx 11 tables in a comfy setting. The food is very creative & delicious. We chose the awesome Pickle soup first. My entree was the cold-s
We purchased Lasisa (cold smoked salmon) and cold smoked tuna. It was wonderful, as always! They have an extensive selection of imported liquor, and we bought two bottles of Lithuanian Three Nines herbal bitters for gifts.
Food was great. Expect a little wait time during weekends
Love this place and it’s old-world charm! The food is hearty and comforting, everything I’ve had has been so good and delicious. They have a large variety of Eastern European and German food, so lots to sample and choose from.
