Tasty pizza, quality and generous bacon Caesar salad, and fun post food slots. Nice modern interior, booths are perfect a for party of two to four.
If you like Home Run Inn Pizza than this is a great location. We've been coming here for years and have always had a positive experience. The appetizers are very good, but the boneless buffalo wings and Ceasar Salad is our favorite. The pizzas are always hot out of the oven and tasting great. The service is very good and the inside of the restaurant was recently remodeled so everything is brand new and modern looking.
I would have given a 5 star overall if they did not missed up my order. I was so looking forward to eating my supreme pizza and paid for it but gave me a cheese pizza instead. I live far away so I can’t just go back and drive back. My advice is open and check first if you got what you ordered before driving home.
We came in for dinner this evening and the food was delicious but even more so the service was amazing. We had Chloe she was amazing, very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely come back and request her.
Went to home run inn in Woodridge. It been a while since I been . Much has changed. It seems very modern inside. I had the personal pizza with sausage and mushroom. I had the strawberry salad and strawberry lemonade. The lemonade was amazing. I was warn by waitress no refills on that. I said okay with me. She also said there is an acholic version too. Salad tasted fresh and good. Pizza was delicious. As I was using the bathroom I noticed a room full of casino machines. I was like wait what. Is this a thing now in Illinois. Casino machines in restaurants. I sat for a quick game. Lost but it okay. I do recommend.
Edit updating from 1 star to 4 stars 12/2: I tried the dock sale again and pleasantly surprised. Waited less than 15 minutes from start to finish.
Once The dock sale was a crowd control, poor planning flop. 2 hours to pick up, with people cutting and cursing, no traffic control or flow besides at the entrance and lines were a mile down 3 ways. No email or text from home run inn to update the crowd during this time. They spun this as an event to support the food pantry and clear their warehouse of imperfect pizzas while letting down loyal customers.the photo doesn’t do it justice but I can’t post the video of the line wrapping a mile around to the main road.
OUTSTANDING Service - MID Week. Thank You. I tipped accordingly. Our waitress was a TRAINER (her shirt stated). . . IT SHOWED. Blonde BOB - Middle Age - Beauty . . . Thank you Chíca !!!
They just remodeled the inside but got some terrible chairs that are super uncomfortable but the booths are great! The food is amazing as usual and our server was so nice! Great place! Can't wait to see what it looks like when they finish the remodel!
Just dined in with my wife recently. The food was delicious and our server Chloe was the best we've ever had. She was so kind and attentive, excellent recommendations. We'll be back soon!!!
Lovely modern industrial design restaurant with delicious food. Pizza is delicious and a favorite!
Consistent quality. The server was especially attentive. One of my local favorites.
My family and I had dinner there tonight. Pizza was hot and delicious. Service was friendly and prompt. The remodel looks fantastic and the place is so clean! However our experience was ruined by the awful black chairs at the tables. They are extremely uncomfortable. By the time we were done eating our bums and lower backs were so sore. The seats are extremely small and the metal bars on the sides in back completely dig into your sides. Please invest in some better chairs. The only way I'd dine in again is if I was guaranteed a booth or there were new chairs.
Got the nicks special. Pizza was very good. Mozzarella sticks were good as well, 2 different quantities available. Penne with Alfredo was also a good choice. Kids Mac and Cheese looked like Kraft Mac and Cheese. This was good for us because our little doesn't like fancy Mac and cheese sometimes. Overall good, just a little pricey.
We have been gone from the Chicago area for 8 years. We came back to town this weekend and met my sister and family for some pizza at the Darien Home Run Inn. As we pulled up, I noticed the exterior had been remodeled, a pleasant but unfamiliar, surprise. When we walked in, it was completely remodeled, again a pleasant surprise. With all of these changes, two things have not changed, the service and the food. Both were great. The only chance I have had to eat a Home Run Pizza in the last 8 years has been in the form of a frozen pizza. While that is good, it's not a substitute for the real thing. So, if you haven't treated yourself to Home Run Inn, don't wait any longer. You will not regret it.
Growing up, we always got Home Run Inn frozen pizza. I had no idea it was an actual restaurant, so I was so excited to check this place out, and it did not disappoint! The buttery crust, multitude of toppings available, and friendly staff made my visit so exceptional! I can't wait to go back!
We went there for the buffet at about 1 pm. The buffet is over at 2 pm. There wasn't much choices in pizza but the meatballs and the sausage with peppers and onions were fantastic. The buffet was more expensive than I thought. We didn't realize until we got the bill.
I’m giving 5 star review just because the manager I believe his name was Pedro, went above and beyond. Uber eats messed up our order badly. Our order was switched with someone who picked the most unusual topping combination I have ever seen 🤣. Pedro went above and beyond to get our order out to us even though Uber was the one who failed. Good manager, care about customers!
