We stopped for lunch while coming north from Florida. The place is authentic, it has personality with that rustic touch and its decoration. There are two areas, a high terrace with stairs and the restaurant on the ground floor. The service and food were great, everything perfectly cooked and tasty (the crispy flounder and Mahi Mahi). It also has a spectacular terrace with beautiful views of the river. 100% recommended. We will definitely return.

They were understaffed, but the service was still pretty good, considering they only had two guys serving, and it was busy. The prices are a little high, but I guess that's just part of the times we are in. I ordered the crab cake appetizer and a side of collards. The side was very small. Crab cake was nicely seasoned with hardly any fillers. I would recommend this place it is a nice little gem.

Cute spot right on the river. We ate in the bar, rather than the restaurant. Lots of character-animal trophies on the walls and 80's music playing. Dinner was BBQ chicken- not a seafood lover. But there was lots of seafood options. More food than we could eat. But all delicious. Highly recommend.

Fabulous fun atmosphere with excellent service and food. A friend suggested stopping by as we traveled south from North Carolina. We loved the experience at the Oyster Bar. We shared raw oysters and grouper strips. We each enjoyed a cup of Crab Soup too.

Wonderful staff very friendly. The food was fresh and reasonably priced. The calamari was super tender i couldn't stop eating it. The wife and I shared a captains platter and a dozen raw oysters and could hardly move we were so full. Come hungry leave happy. They have a bar side on the right of the main walkway and restaurant on the left side. You can order food or drinks on either side so no choice is bad. The location was perfect with the river and huge shrimp boats parked alongside it.

Great variety of Gulf seafood and really good service. Returned the following Monday. They were closed even though their website said they were opened. Probably won't visit again

Absolutely enjoy coming to this place. I always sit outside so I can enjoy the view. The food is great and their drinks do the job. My go to Is the gator tale and the crab stew for an appetizer. I get the crispy flounder combo platter with sweet potato souffle, and yes, I eat it all because I love good food! Meals also come with hushpuppies, I eat those up also, lol. Overall, I absolutely love this place. Prepare to spend a little change, for hubby and I, our bill is usually right under $150 bucks, but guess what? It's worth it, Don't mind paying for QUALITY! Just go sit outside, enjoy the moment, and be a great human while there... meanwhile enjoying some amazing food.

Saturday night dinner was just ok. Tight dining accomodations, server spraying chemical with strong odor, while cleaning tables. Overtook food taste. Sunday Brunch in the bar is much better, steamed oysters were delicious, Fried whole flounder to perfection, Bbq chicken to go was off the chain. Will be back

Wonderful location! It's a really busy place. There was a long wait. The staff told us to wait 20-25 mins, but we were able to get inside within 10 mins. The main server was friendly and fast. The place had a cozy and warm feel. Table was quite narrow and wobbly, which was a little uncomfortable. The food and drinks were exellent! Especially, the acallops prosciutto was the BEST! Tender, savory, juicey... My mouth is still watering.. Sauce that came with it was also tasty. It was the first time for me to tried grits, and it really went well with food and taste just like porridge, so it was not burdensome. Outside, there is a small yacht dock attached to a nice deck and you can see wild alligators. We saw two gators. It was my first time seeing a wild gators, so it was an awesome experience! Can't wait to go back!!

We saw the billboard off of 95 and decided to check it out. We were very pleased with the atmosphere and the seafood (we got the platter to split...shrimp, fish, calamari etc). Our waitress was very attentive and the view of the water was pretty cool too. We would definitely go back!
