Last night was the first time we tried the New Year’s Eve Dinner and it was awesome. I have been dining at this place for years and I’m glad I chose this for last night’s event. My friends, husband and I had such an incredible time.
The price fix menu was so generous. The food was simply amazing. Even though the place was packed, we got our food right away. Our waiter was so pleasant. We gave him 20% tip. The best part was the buffet of dessert at the ballroom. The music was great and we had the best time.
We will be back for more.

Was just there for my niece’s Bat Mitzvah. Excellent event space. Everyone there was very nice, friendly and courteous. The food was great too. Highly recommend this place.
I attended a wedding there recently and it was probably the best experience I have ever had at reception. The food was to die for--lollipop lamb chops were the best--it was all amazing. The attention to detail was out of this world, every time I got out of my seat my napkin was refolded when I returned and I got up a lot! the entire night was magical, I just mention the napkin as a minute example of the professionalism. If i didn't know the bride I would've thought it she was family member of the owner, it was that perfect. Strongly recommend!!! The DJ, the service, the decor---I could go on and on...perfection!
Perfect for my 80th birthday party. We all had the best time ever. Food was excellent as well as the help. I highly recommend this fabulous place.

Food, service and ambiance was wonderful. Just wish they would utilize the beautiful, open back area of the restaurant over looking the water. Feels so dark and cramped in that front room and its low ceilings. They're sitting on a goldmine there. Put your diners in the back where the view is.
P.S. The garlic bread and onion rings are to die for too.
Giovanni's is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. We chose this venue for our group's annual Luncheon and Fashion Show. We could not have been more pleased. Everything went smoothly from the start. Michelle was amazing leaving no detail undone to ensure we had an amazing experience. The room was great, the food delicious and service perfect. Could not be happier.
I attended a wedding lastnight (new years eve) at the Waters Edge at Giovannis and it was amazing. beautiful building and decor, awesome staff and AMAZING food. Hands down the best food I've ever had at a wedding. I was impressed at every turn!

Bonnie did a magnificent job with our 50th wedding anniversary celebration. Everything went perfectly. Great food, great service, beautiful venue. Our guests were impressed!
Great time at the 25th annual Norwalk Mayor's Ball. The food choices and appetizers were very good and the service was impeccable. The wait staff constantly checked on the status of the tables. The decor was elegant and inviting. Parking was a bit of a challenge given the fact that most of the 350 guests arrived at the same time. But they quickly managed to get everyone parked and inside. Picking up the car from the valet did not take that long at all.
Today, we enjoyed a wonderful milestone birthday party at The Water's Edge at Giovanni's, and I have to thank everyone who helped me to make this party run so smooth and wonderfully! From Michele Esposito who very kindly and competently helped me to arrange all the details (all within two weeks' notice) to Bonnie and Sal who helped us on site the day of to Syed and the other wonderful wait staff who made us feel welcome, special, and added extra/special touches I did not even think of (and they went very well). Thank you for making my Doug's 50th birthday a memorable event that everyone enjoyed! (And our family give their high compliments, too!)
I am so excited to be having a party with you guys.. I am never disapointed!!! I will never forget all the fun we had when we had Aly Arbron's birthday party there. The service was amazing the food was perfect and I had so much fun. Then I went to Bobby and Martin's Wedding and not only was every detail taken care of... I got to dance with Joann.. I hosted my daughters B'Not Mitzvah this past weekend at Waters Edge. From our first day working with Bonnie and the entire staff we were treated like family and they assisted us in planning an event that my kids will never forget. Countless guests of ours commented on how fantastic the quality, taste and presentation of the food was. I couldn't be happier. If your thinking of planning an event here....book your date. You will not be disappointed.

We just had our wedding here on October 14, 2017. Joann, Sal and Bonnie were a dream team to bring to life our dream wedding day. That comes from the girl who never dreamed of a wedding!!!
They helped mentor & coach myself, my husband, and my parents to balance all the "issues", changes and special request. They went so far as to create the menu of our dreams. Man those ribs were something else, and the empanadas, sliders, the list just goes on. Everyone has told us it was the best experience, and that wasn't the usual sit down dinner. They made it creative, accommodating, and put such care into everything.
The organization between management, support, vendors and ourselves was bar none. I felt like everyone involved guided us to have fun and even make time to enjoy little special moments just for us as a couple.
As you can see I cannot say enough, and I will add a detail. I had to move my location 2 times due to unforeseen issues and all I can say is it was the best choice I made, beyond expression. Thank you, thank you, thank you

Amazing time. Large gatherings or small intimate parties they can handle it all. I had my wedding the first Saturday of December 2020. They were professional and safe. They handle all.of the covid preparations and were so clean and accommodating. Please go and ask for Bonnie. They were so unbelievably amazing.
Giovanni's is a special experience. In the 1760's it was simply a barn where George Washington kept his horse. Today it is a paragon of taste, refinement, hospitality and the essence of an old world appreciation for the dinner things in life.
Giovanni has created not only a destination for gastronomic delights, but a function hall palace beyond compare. The staff is professional and dedicated. The decor is breathtaking. The setting is out of a dream. Enjoy.
We had a funeral meal here last week and it was wonderful! The service was impeccable, the food delicious!!! I highly recommend to anyone from a dinner date to a larger party. We were seated outside under a tent because it was a large gathering, but it was still gorgeous on a hot day! A nice breeze off the water kept it very comfortable and there was no smell from the sound which was wonderful! The only thing I wasn't thrilled with was the dessert: it was a vanilla roll cake with chocolate mousse filling. But it could have just been that that was the preference of the hosts to serve that instead of one of their other dessert offerings.
Thank you Giovanni’s for a truly amazing yet safe dinner party for my graduates! The food was outstanding and the service was second to none! Every safety measure was taken with precision so that all guests felt safe and comfortable. Providing such excellent service during a world pandemic under strict dining restrictions is just a testimony to how incredible Giovanni’s is! I highly recommend WEG for any event because of their professionalism and dedication to their clients!

WEG is the best venue from start to finish. Look, people will remember the food, alcohol, and music at your wedding, and WEG ensured that the reception experience was stellar at every turn.
The space is gorgeous; the staff is thorough and courteous; and the food is OUT OF THIS WORLD. People are STILL talking about how delicious everything was! The fresh mozzarella bar and the Venetian dessert hour were HUGE hits. The bartenders were befriended by our groomsmen and I hear the drinks were great (do yourself a favor, don't drink on your wedding day). Your guests will have a sterling experience at WEG.
Michele is all-world! The best coordinator ever! She is accessible 24/7, always kind and enthusiastic, and has answers for everything. She is also a great resource for other vendors and how to navigate those decisions. I was in such capable hands with her. I felt like she had become part of the family by the end of it! Additionally, every time I was there, Sal and JoAnn were present to me and very welcoming. JoAnn was even the one who bustled my dress at the reception! That's how involved everyone at WEG is. I simply cannot recommend them highly enough!
Waters Edge at Giovanni's was a pleasure to work with! My wife and I recently had our reception there and Giovanni's was extremely accommodating in helping us transform our very large wedding, into a smaller intimate one. The staff were extremely attentive all night and the food was delicious! Thank you Waters Edge at Giovanni's for making our special day a memorable one!
I ordered a Mother’s Day broiled lobster dinner with appetiter, Salads, vegetables on Saturday as takeout to finish at home on Sunday, May 10, 2020. I was assured by George that all will go well and everything would be organized and I have to say he is a man of his word. We missed eating in the restaurant but what a fabulous meal we had. We used our air fryer to finish off the calamari and lobster tails. They were tender and absolutely delicious and the whole meal was so well organized and made for a wonderful dinner evening for us.
I never thought that take out the turn out so amazing as this.
We have been going to the Waters edge at Giovanni’s for 30 years and we have never regretted any time or any email.

This is the spot to go for steaks! Our waiter Douglas, was awesome. He was very attentive. We ordered prime rib and it was amazing. It was so delicious.
