Casual counter service setting. TV's for sports. Clean restaurant and restrooms. I had the 5 small tacos and chose steak for 2 and trombo for 3. Their trombo is tasty and mild which is good for me. We also got nachos which were loaded with chicken (choose heat level).

My wife and I enjoyed our lunch last week. We would like to come back to try more menu items for sure.
Ordering was easy! They have a nice selection of items and toppings to choose from.
The chips were very hard and we could not eat them with our guacamole.
Online ordering is available. Fresh onions with cilantro is an option, but we couldn’t add them on our online order. Only pickled onions were an option online.
The employees were kind and helped us order.
Overall, definitely worthwhile and delicious.

Best Tacos EVER!!! Barbacoa has the perfect amount of fat... so it melts in your mouth. Amazing! Then comes the pork belly taco... let me just say that had to be the best pork belly I have ever had in a taco! God bless whoever Tia that made that pork belly. I'm in love! Thank you for your your hospitality!

Hi everyone. I must say authentic tacos in this area unheard off we'll let me shut my Pie-hole. this place rocks !!! Being from homestead florida where true Mexican is served Davies taco bar is second to none. Huge servings with all the options available to filled your tacos burritos sopes etc this place is well prepared to filled the hungry appetite. Flavor and service excellent we were beyond satisfied I recommend 100 %

Read some reviews about this place & since my wife loves Mexican food, I thought we’d try it. Food was outrageously good. We knew in our first couple bites, this was our new goto for Mexican food. We shared a pork burrito (it was HUGE), 5 tacos with a mix of steak, chicken & pork, elote en vaso (roasted corn w/ chili aioli) & queso fundido w/chorizo. It was OFF.THE.CHAIN. If you are looking for great authentic Mexican food, give Davie Taco Bar a try. You’ll be very happy you did.

I ordered from here for a work event almost two weeks in advance . I called in the order and it was simple enough but I was very explicit on my timing as we were setting up a lunch for a client at their office . I said numerous times and even asked how long it would take for them to set up — he told me “15/20 minutes” so I told him I would like them there at 12:30 as the lunch was at 1pm
I said 12:30 to account for the fact that everyone in South Florida is ALWAYS late and expected them to still find a way to be late .
I also confirmed the day before telling them PLEASE 12:30 !!!
When he called me the day of at 12:32 and said “1pm right ?” I thought he was joking
They walked through the doors at 1:07 to start setting up after I called 3 times and the driver kept saying “I’m 7 minutes away” or “I’m pulling in” or “I’m here” which was all untrue . Needless to say— I wasn’t a happy camper BUT with that being said, the taste of the food was amazing.
Really - it’s the only reason they’re getting 3 stars because the food was really really good and everyone was extremely impressed.
Davie Taco Bar, punctuality is just as important as food quality and taste . You have to realize that other businesses are also depending on you and when you’re late — it reflects on us
I still haven’t received a call or an apology or a resolution and maybe I shouldn’t expect one but …. Yes, that’s just my Two cents

Taste is good. The chicharron tacos are the best I’ve tried in the US. I’d say these are the most authentic tacos I’ve tried in South Florida (I’m Mexican BTW). My only complain is the quantity of meat they put in the tacos. I understand we all are trying to maximize our profits but this or not paying fair to employees are not the best ways. It would be better to increase a little bit the price of the tacos instead of reducing the portions.

What an amazing find! From the great service (everyone at the counter was super friendly and helpful) to the food that was also “top notch”…. The Elote was served piping hot and delicious. The Tacos Madre were so tasty, but the Birria Tacos stole the show. It got pretty busy but they clearly have a good routine as food was served quickly and hot to be enjoyed in the restaurant or off site. This is one of our new Taco Joint and a hidden Gem!!!

Just visited this place with my family, is a nice environment, the owner is very friendly and was able to try different plates, the birria tacos were out this world, it was my first time trying those and I loved them, I leave far from their location but definitely will drive to eat those tacos. Five stars for Davie Taco Bar!!!!!

This is a whole in the wall taco bar. Generally the good is very good. And the tge service is top notch. However the last time I went there, the food was so so. But I'm hoping that was a one-off

This taco bar is located directly off State Road 84 and I595 in a strip shopping center. It has been around for quite a while, and I have wanted to try it as Mexican is my favorite food hands down. I ordered three of the signature tacos a campechana, a gringa, and a pirata. These are very much like the best authentic street tacos with carne asada, cheese and fresh avocado. The handcrafted tortillas were heated in front of me, and they added melted cheese to the corn tortilla making like a tortilla sandwich with melted cheese between the layers. I chose from a variety of toppings to dress my tacos- lettuce, tomatoes, crema, jalapeños, onions, more cheese, lime, etc and added one of the three salsas- mild, medium and hot. The mild and medium are perfect examples of salsa verde- flavorful with just the right amount of heat. The hot salsa has a bite, but it is not too bad.
When I finished the tacos, I also ordered the Sopes Del Jefe, which are handcrafted corn cakes with toppings. These come with chicharron and salsa verde, refried beans, cilantro, crema, and queso fresco. These were so great!. The sopa is such a good combination of salty and sweet. It goes so well with the chicharron. I will go back for these specifically.
I also want to try their Elote en Vaso.
Finally, I had some hibiscus tea- which you can’t find anywhere and it was quite satisfying. They also have two other Aqua frescas- horchata and tamarindo and an assortment of Mexican beer and soda.
The ambience is fine, not upscale- just a comfortable budget friendly neighborhood place.

Really nice Taco shop, I actually saw an ad on instagram and decided to check it out and I was not disappoint. It was really close to tacos I've had in Mexico, and I was surprised. They had a lot of options it was hard to choose from tacos, a quesadilla, or a burrito. I ended up making my own burrito, and quesadilla. With the steak which was very tender, I added barbacoa into my burrito. For the quesadilla I had steak and pork bello. Also had their tamarind drink which was really good.

This is the best mexican food I’ve tried in Florida, I lived in Mexico many years and know the difference, most other places usually disappoint but this little place delivers really good food, the staff is always friendly and courteous, place is very clean.
Already been there 4 times and all my friends were also very satisfied with their experience.

If you are eastbound on State road 84 and you blink, you might miss it. That would be a mistake. Walking up, it doesn't look like much, but once inside, you are greeted by the smell of great Mexican style food. The ingredients are fresh and full of flavor. Tacos, burritos, tostadas, they're all great. All the hot sauce - spicy, medium, mild - all super tasty. I can't forget the guacamole... yummy. The staff is always friendly and helpful. This place is a must if you're in the mood for Mexican.

Great food, got the tacos and the nachos and they were super delicious and reasonably priced. Only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars is because their margaritas are really pricey and very weak (alcohol content wise). I’d def go back to eat there though, specially during taco Tuesday.
