First time customer, First impressions... the restaurant is tastefully decorated. It's clean and well staffed. Our waitress was great , very attentive and kept our drinks full. The food came out as requested it was fresh and had plenty of flavor. I did not care for the cole slaw. But everything else was great. Plenty of parking and reasonably priced. Definitely recommend.
If you love Barbecue Baby Back Ribs, this is the place to visit. Also offered are Pulled Pork, Barbecue Chicken and Corn Bread, Corn on a Cob and all the sides that match perfectly. Portions are generous. Service is extremely dedicated and the environment is very friendly. Highly recommended!
I’m always looking for great BBQ places nationwide and Shorty’s BBQ has been added to the list. The first time I ate here I was a total newbie and asked what was the sauce they give on the side for? The super nice waitress let me know and she told me that “people go crazy for this sauce, they put it on everything”. I tried it and definitely was hooked on putting it over my fries! Everything I’ve ordered at Shorty’s has been great and the staff is always friendly. I highly recommend Shorty’s BBQ. Definitely try their sauce and see what you’ll be putting it on! 1st time here, I had the BBA chicken and hubby the brisket. Food was delicious and will be returning.
This place is all about the incredible food. Slow cooked brisket is out of this world. You get to have the juice that it was cooked with. The fries are as good as in Belgium almost! They don't add salt to them, they let you decide how you want them. Excellent restaurant. Will be back many times.
We were a party of 7, 5 had baby back ribs. Some came out sauce dry, some were wet. Not consistent, meat was not cooked the same. Service was also lacking, one of us didn't get his food (same ribs) for 15 more minutes due to a *mistake. Cole slaw not great to our liking also, too much onion in it.
Everything was really good! We had Ribs, brisket and wings. There are better ribs places around the area. Prices are good for the amount of food, plates were huge! The best plate was the carrot cake, key lime pie was okay. Amazing service!
I forgot how good their BBQ was!! My pulled pork sandwich was oversized and just scrumptious. Good iced tea, ribs and fries too. So glad we went there for a Sunday supper.
Great BBQ joint. Quick and easy and lots of food to fill your plate. I got the pulled pork w/ Cole slaw and French fries. If I had anything to complain about it was the fries need to be cooked longer.
I'm not a personal fan of ribs, but my family loves the ribs here. I tried the brisket and chicken combo plate. Brisket was delicious, soft, and flavorful. It need a bit of salt, as did the chicken, but I could've had an entire plate of it. Paired it with a lemonade. Chicken was alright, had a nice charcoal crunch. Coleslaw and bread included with most meals are quite good too.
Ambiance is rustic and american, food comes out in less than 5 minutes and is very very filling.
Nice to reminisce haven’t had a Shorty’s chicken sandwich in 8 years it was delicious 🤤 just like 👍🏻 I remembered ❤️ love the shorty’s sauce too.

We got chicken, pulled pork, brisket, and a rack of ribs. All were tasty and well cooked, and the warm sauces served with the meals made them even better. Fresh coleslaw, garlic bread, fries, and the macaroni and cheese...uff...not enough space for the homemade key lime pie... next time.
My go to place for a pulled pork sandwich. The burger is fantastic also, and don't forget the sweet tea. Atmosphere is perfect for a BBQ joint.
