You want good Chinese food? Go here period. Don't let the location and size fool you at all.
If you enjoy roast pork with the crispy skin don't want to long to stop by as it usually sells out quick. Roast duck hit or miss if it sells out early.

Authentic Cantonese, and potentially the best I've had in Florida. The pan fried dumplings not pictured were insanely delicious, with a great dipping sauce. The xo noodles were perfectly seasoned and delicious. The veg fried rice was not to salty and also tasty, but the showstopper was the chinese broccoli and garlic. It was perfectly crispy and succulent!! Will definitely be back to this cool little spot. One note they don't have to many chicken dishes.

I have been quite a few times now. I really enjoy their crispy pork belly, one of their specialties which has limited availability. The Singapore-style Fried Egg Noodles with Curry Sauce was also delicious; exquisitely flavored with the perfect amount of spice. Their menu is very extensive, so you’ll have a lot to choose from. They will continue to be part of my go-to restaurants!

Traditionally made Cantonese food, to say all in some words. Prices are affordable and the personnel is friendly. The accommodations are basic but keep in mind that the focus here is the food and this place will not disappoint the most refined tasters. Definitely a place to go whenever you want to have a fresh Chinese Cantonese Food. The Duck and Pork meat is perfectly cooked. A+, well done.

This place is a hidden gem! Food was excellent. Best duck we've ever had, it didn't taste frozen and wasn't too fatty and greasy like some places. Try the beef tripe , it's delicious. Workers were always polite and accommodating.

Wow delicious a ten star chef on a local hidden street. What a gem I have found. I only ordered the roast duck and the dumplings and it’s the best food I’ve had in a while. It’s a little pricey but spend the money on quality. You can’t buy food that has quality cheap. You will not be disappointed. And it doesn’t hurt that the staff is really kind & helpful to guide you with the authentic menu.

Was in the area from Miami with my boyfriend looking for a filling affordable meal when thanks to Yelp we discovered Tasty Cafe Restaurant. The reviews hinted at authentic Chinese food and great meats so it was an easy choice for me. We got there a couple hours before closing and this small restaurant was pretty packed with other Asians which always seems to be a good sign! They were pretty hectic and service seemed to be a little slow but they only had three people working there whom were taking care of take-out orders, all the tables, and the food. They were extremely nice though but I had to walk up to the counter multiple times to get certain things like our drinks and silverware.
The food was definitely the highlight as it should be! They had a pretty wide large menu so I definitely over ordered for my boyfriend and I; we ended up taking home so much food that we had a full meal from the leftovers the next day.
For appetizers we started with an order of steamed pork dumplings which was only $3.95 for 10. These were pretty average. Next we ate Youtiao which is Chinese Deep-Fried Dough sticks and a personal favorite. They served them fresh and cut down for you at only $2.50. They also had Congee which I had never seen in America before. Congee is a Chinese rice porridge which I recommend getting the pork and egg with but since it was my boyfriends first time getting it we just got plain congee for $3.50. We received our Brisket Beef Tendon with Radish next which was AMAZING if you love tendon and had a full bodied savory flavor. We ended up adding it to our Congee which was delicious!
For our main entrees we shared the vegetable stir fry $7.95 which was HUGE and I highly recommend it to vegetarians and carnivores alike since you could tell they use in house rice noodles with a smokey flavor. We had this with our double meats combo plate which came with generous rice; we wanted to get all three meats (duck, crispy pork, and roast pork) but they were out of the crispy pork. While we were eating here too I noticed that they were selling out of many items and had to turn away some customers that wanted the duck so come early!
All in all I was very happy with my meal and authentic flavor offered at this unsuspecting Chinese restaurant. I would recommend it to those looking for a casual/affordable meal!

Overall not a bad place for Hong Kong style food, the drinks are great especially milk tea. Foods are alright just don’t expect it tastes like the same as what you have in HK.

Yummy and affordable. Smell and taste brings me back to the streets of HK. Friendly staff and fast service. Small place but very clean. Authentic food but menu is simple enough to order from

Authentic Chinese Cantonese food. Delicious food and beverage. I never get disappointed at this place. Highly recommend!!

Best food here is the BBQ items. The congee and soup noodle dishes, while good, weren't anything special. Boba wasn't too sweet, which I appreciated, but they ran out of tapioca. I'll have to come back to give the toast and appetizers a try. Service was good and it's conveniently located right next to Foodtown grocery store :)

I've been to this restaurant twice and both times I was satisfied with its authenticity. Though it's not 100% Cantonese, it is definitely the best in the area. Food and service quality were in par with expectations.

Been to this place quite a few times since this place opened and food is pretty okay. I recommend the Lo Mein with XO Sauce, Steamed Rice Rolls with Mixed Sauce, Beef Chow Fun and Chinese BBQ Plate.

If you really try the traditional Chinese give this place a chance. All dishes we tried were on point and delicious.

Great place.
Price is reasonable.
Food reminds me of the food in Hong Kong. Must try the milk tea.

I got the duck. When I say the duck, I mean the whole duck! They would cut in but it's more of a chop. You understand if you know what I mean. Then I went across the way and got pancakes, scallions, and duck sauce. It was delicious! We did have meat and a noodle dish before but I mean to go back because they have a huge selection of meat dishes and also different style I would like to try. Summation: Wide variety, $, very tasty!

My son and I love this place! We live north but will travel down to Food Town to shop and stop here for lunch. The food is very fresh and delicious! We try different menu items each visit and it's all very good. Authentic BBQ and Roast Duck. We also love the Hong Kong milk tea and always order extra to-go. The staff are very sweet and nice. They are helpful and recommend the best way to maximize our experience. This isn't regular Americanized Chinese food, come here to eat real food that's not covered in sugar or salt. You can truly appreciate the natural flavors.
