Always love a good meal at Pollo. Though feels like it has been getting expensive lately.
I go for lunch with a friend once we are done with class, we always get great service and food. The only complaint I have is that there needs to more pork in the tropichop and to change something in the cilantro sauce, it kind of tastes weird. I have been there on more than one occasion so I have a few pictures. Definitely at its price a better alternative to the chipotle near by (which they are very light handed on everything in the bowl).
I buy food often at this location because their chicken is always fully cooked and delicious however, the service for years has sucked. (I deal with it because of the great chicken)
Tonight was a very different experience though. So different that it was worthy of my time to write this review and recognize one young man’s superb customer service.
Esteban did an incredible job taking my order and offering choices. He was consistent in his attention towards me, had great verbal communication skills, great memory, efficient multi-tasker, and had exceptional initiative. I haven’t received good service in such a long time that it felt like I was in a movie. I think at one point I looked around to see if anyone else noticed!
This kid might just have leadership quality! If he continues to work hard and maintain his great attitude, he will go far! Keep it up, kid!
Love, love, love Pollo Tropical! The fresh ingredients are the star of the show! Cilantro lime sauce is amazing on everything!
Cleanliness: The building is kept up, not always super clean but considering the volume of people that come and in and out - - it's fine 6/10
Food: The food is fresh, delicious, and cheap BUT it's a hit or a miss when it comes to the quality of the chicken, sometimes they'll give you a freshly grilled chicken and other times you get a dry chorcoal mess - - I always ask for them to replace the chicken if it's too dry or over cooked and you should too 8/10
Staff: The staff is friendly and attentive. Lacking some training but overall great 9/10
Overall this place is one my favorite spots for grilled chicken. The price is unbelievable: full chicken, rice, beans, bread, and a side of Mac n cheese came out to 16$
Foods always good and fresh.. very clean very nice. They now serve alcohol.
I was here last Wednesday, despite the rain they took great care of me, especially the manager Gaby. The food very tasty and fresh.
We really enjoyed our meals, the food was fresh.... the service was accurate, timely and the staff was very pleasant!
Very fast and good service, clean and well staffed location.
Salsa bar was perfect.
