We contacted Unos about having our Carroll High School wrestling banquet there and they were very accommodating for 70+ wrestlers and parents. Moving tables and setting up a special area for our awards. The food and service were amazing. I can't say enough about this place and the staff. Would like to give a special thanks to the manager Joe for making this happen and to Katy the evening manager and our waitress Becky Clark for all of her help and keeping on top of things she did a wonderful job.
Best pizza crust I have ever tasted, it was like a pastry crust! So good, and service was great - thanks Matt!!
Awesome place, Awesome food, Awesome Service! ....I was there close to closing but the staff made me feel welcomed and never rushed me.
Delicious as always! We came in on a very busy Friday night w no reservation and eight people, and they still managed to squeeze us in. Hostess was great, service was great. We had picky eaters with us and everything came out perfect. Our server (unfortunately I can’t remember his name) was excellent and very funny. We had many different appetizers, and different entrees and everyone was happy with everything. I almost always come to UNOs when I’m downtown for an event and I will keep returning.
We came in before Art in the City on 8/4/17. We were seated quickly for a family of 5. And our waiter was attentive and pleasant. There was a little wait but understandable considering how busy it was. The food was top notch and we left satisfied to walk around downtown and enjoy the events. ❤️
I love the food there and the service was awesome. Try the Berry and Goat Cheese salad. They also have the best croutons known to mankind.
My friend and I had dinner at Uno's last night before a show at the Schuster Center. We were seated immediately, our server was fantastic, and the food was delicious! Everyone we encountered as we left encouraged us to "enjoy the show." We're already planning our next trip downtown to have dinner!
It was dinner and a show. I had the shrimp scampi with Linguine. oh my goodness it was delicious. We also had the steak – amazing. We had the artichoke dip and chips for appetizers. Very good. Service was excellent.
Before last year, I had not been to an Uno Pizzeria & Grill in many years. The last time I had been was in Maryland, 10 years ago. We had a large party and had all sorts of issues. I was less than impressed and never had a desire to go back.
Being back in Dayton, and having one close by, I decided to try them again. I placed two orders in a row with issues. Burnt chicken on the chicken parm, toppings missing from the pizza, overcooked lasagna noodles, and things just overall not as expected.
I got in touch with the manager, Joe, and he was very receptive to my feedback. He even said that they were tweaking the chicken parm recipe, since that was one dish that we had repeated issues with. I'll be damned, they actually did it!
I have said it before, and this is a HUGE testament to the fact that management can make or break your experience. Uno's isn't my favorite Italian restaurant. But because the manager followed up with me, and really took my feedback to heart, it makes me appreciate this place so much more!
Service wasn't stellar but I love their pizza, it's very different, very deep and the crust is simil to a savory pie crust with some pouf to it.. My 7" Numero Uno pizza (But I hold the peppers) fills me up. We shared a "Deep dish brownie" - the dish was deep but the brownie was not, it was only 1/4" thick!
Let’s start by saying the Cheese and tomato pizza was pretty damn good! I have to give complete props to the evening manager Sam as to why this is even a five star review. Realistically my initial experience was more of a 1 star rating. Unfortunately the new hostess took my order wrong while we were on the phone even though I was 100% sure we were talking about the same thing because she had been explaining prices to me that matched with what I saw online. I ordered two deep dish regular sized cheese and tomato pizzas and what I received were two regular classic deep dish. ( My bf doesn’t eat meat and this has sausage ) After a long day of work I didn’t think to check the pizza at the restaurant and lets just say we were disappointed to see we got the wrong pizza! I called immediately and the manager Sam answered, I explained what happened and she said that she could make us the correct pizzas; this is 15 minutes before closing. At the end of the night, we were able to get the right pizza and Sam truly made having to come back to the restaurant worth it! She was extremely professional and I appreciated her going the extra mile even after the store “closed”.
first time eating here. everyone working there was super nice. the pizza crust is fantastic, i want to eat that by itself, lol. the pasta is also delicious and a hefty amount. I didn’t care my mixed drinks and the fact that there was no music playing, but everything else was great.
Very delicious. We used to go to stores in Columbus Ohio but they have been closed for years. Found out this one in Dayton Ohio is the only one left in the state. Worth the 2 hour drive.
I enjoyed it here. I haven't been since I was in high school. Great food if you're into Italian food. But if you're not in the mood for that they have other options. Burgers, steaks, as well as chicken. Prices are a bit on the high side but you'll definitely get your money worth. Our server (Guy) was very attentive and helpful. I and my fiance will be back and we highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't been.
9 of us got seated and served quickly by very sweet waitress. Salad was cold and fresh and everyone's pizza's we're awesome - as always.
