Every time my family and I visit Florida, we make a point to come to this place at least twice on our vacation. The food is amazing and the owners are friendly, funny, and very personable. Everything we've tried we loved, and my favorite is probably just the classic spaghetti and meatballs, but they know how to do it very well.

By far the best place to eat in Dayton! The food and people are great. Don and his wife are a riot and make you feel right at home the moment you walk in. The food is too die for. Mussels and marinara are so great and the cannoli was amazing!! Would highly recommend to any Italian lover.
Relaxed, fun atmosphere. Delicious food. Nice sized portions Veal melted in my mouth. Friendly owners. Definitely will add this place to my list of favorites.

In dreams.... One of the last places I ate at in Daytona before moving away. It was delicious. Had the mussels over spaghetti- rich and fresh. My parents had some sausage and pasta (they were pleased), and my boyfriend had the pizza- it was excellent.
Enjoyed the lively staff, who clearly love what they do, and the wait is fun- have some wine, eat some bread, gossip, let them make your food. Wholeheartedly recommend the pizza.
Amazing!! The service was wonderful and the food was delicious. We started off with the garlic knots which were melt in your mouth good! My husband had the calzone and he said it was the best calzone he ever had. They make them fresh to order. I had the chicken Francesca and it was pure lemon buttery goodness. We will definitely be going back.

We loved it. Before we ate there we were skeptical because of past reviews about children running around and it being loud. That is so far from the truth. I was a very relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. Yes there was a little girl that was there (obviously part of the family), but she was probably one of the most well behaved children ive encountered. She even pointed me to the bathroom. The food was WONDERFUL! I got the chicken Parmesan and my boyfriend got Chicken Frecese and we got meatballs as a appetizer. Enjoyed every minute. Wonderful service! We will be back.

This restaurant has a great location. We were looking for a great Italian spot that didn't rob our wallets. Don't let the percent of likes fool you. This is a family own and ran. The menu has a great selection and honestly you can't got wrong wih anything. Try the garlic knots while you wait for dinner. A big thank you to the owner and staff!! Looking forward to our next trip down.

Absolutely wonderful. At first, the mom&pop feel made me question whether the eating here would be worth it. Then I tasted the food. Starting with the bruschetta, I knew that my family and I chose the right restaurant. The bruschetta was wonderful, the penne carbonara was exquisite, and finally, the cheesecake was about the best I've ever had. The great food combined with the wonderfully friendly service provided by the owner (and her comical story-telling husband, James Allen I) made for a truly fantastic dinner. I 100% recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for good food and good times.

WOW!!! A true family and a true italian restaurant im so glad I had urbanspoon to take me there the service was amazing all family working very professional and very friendly the salad was very fresh the brushetta we had to wait a lil but it was made fresh like every thing else and was amazing. I got the chicken picatta and it was amazing the lemon sauce was perfect as was the chicken also another person got chicken parm and it was the best he ever got the vodka sauce is a lil iffy but everything else was great the canoli is a must the best I ever got and for all the food we got it was very reasonably priced
I had the veegie calzone at Don Vitos and was definitely not dissapointed. I chose one with fresh broccoli, onions, and peppers and it was delicious. I would reccamend this place to friends. True itialian food with great service!

I have eaten there twice in the past two days. The service was nice. The restaurant is family owned, and they make time to see how you're enjoying everything. The prices are reasonable, and they have a decent wine selection. I highly reccomend this place to anyone on the Daytona Beach area.
Excellent meal, sausage and peppers was perfectly seasoned. Pasta was tender and fresh. Lemon butter sauce was balanced and light. Cannoli was light and creamy. Will definately return!
Good pizza!. I had a good pizza from there today, the crust is very thin its different from other places. The menu was large and reasonably priced. I will go back and try the eggplant parmagan.
Amazing pizza! Tried it for the first time and I won't be going anywhere else. I'm from NY and have been looking for great NY style pizza all over Daytona and I've finally found it. The environment is very friendly and has a homey feel to it. The owner even came out and talked to us. He is from queens so you know it's great. Great food and great service. Definitely will be back.

Love!. We enjoyed dinner at Don Vito while on vacation in Daytona. We really enjoyed the warm and welcoming staff as well as the fabulous food. The lasagna was amazing. My husband had Manicotti and enjoyed it as well. We wish we lived closer so we could visit more often. Than you for a wonderful evening.

Fantastic!!!!. LOVE THE FOOD!!! Bruschetta, Lasagna, Chicken Francese, Veal Fra Diavalo, Ravioli with Meatballs... Chocolate Cake, TIramisu, Cheese Cake!!!! The best! All family recipes... fantastic! My 7 year old son ate 1/2 of a 14" cheese pizza. It was that good!

I found MY PLACE. Down from St. Augustine to vist World's Most Famous Beach and found what should be known as The World's Best Italian Restaurant. My goodness this was great. My Party of 4 had everything from the best Pizza to Veal Marsala and Garlic knots that were kickin. The folks that run it are Great too. It's now just known to us as MY PLACE. Larry G

Great Family Resturant. I took my family to Don Vito's while on spring break. The food was excellent and we went back a second time before returning home. Jimmy and Barbara are great and made us feel like we were eating at our own table.

Your at home. I took my mom out to lunch one afternoon and dicovered such a great Itailan restaurant. I ordered the eggplant w/ pasta and my mom ordered the meatball sub. Both were fantastic! The owner and her husband are so sweet and really makes you feel like you are at your own dinner table at home! Please check it out. $15 for lunch for both of us:)
