We did a search for somewhere with vegan And gluten free options: no easy task. Kale cafe not only has All Vegan Options, but Several gluten free choices too. We all got something different to try as much as we could. The seitan marsala, macaroni and cheese were So flavorful and filling! The jerk mushrooms were my absolute favorite; spicy and juicy. The curry channa was a hit. Our gluten free companion was so impressed with the balanced curry flavor. Most of their options are prepared on a hot bar, so my made to order burger took a little longer, but was well worth the wait, especially with GENEROUS serving of plantains. Vegan or otherwise, just come if you're Hongry!
This is the place to take a person that thinks vegan food is grass and salads. They serve soul food that makes you feel full but still have energy for your day. They have $5 dollar vegan burger tuesday, they are the bomb.
I can’t believe they’ve been here for four years and I’ve never been in!! This food is freaking good. The staff knows their stuff, and that veggie burger was amazing. My 3yo daughter— a huge Mac and cheese advocate— wouldn’t share their vegan mac n sheese with us (which is saying something). We’ll be making this a regular spot for sure. Thanks for existing, Kale Cafe!!
Loved the Kale Salad and the rest of my plate! The spices were all in the right place, we enjoyed every bite! Next time we’re back in town this will be a staple place to go...
I wish I could give it a rating more than 5 stars. Kale Cafe is a gem, amazing, a diamond! I tried a lot of their food while I was in Daytona (very vegan barren) and it was among the best I have had nationally!
The tofu scramble wins all tofu scrambles, the blueberry pancake was full of flavor, and that Kale they are named after is divine!
I also tried the huge housemade burger with Mac and cheese. So big, I could not finish it.
And their smoothies/juices are bright, fresh, and tasty.
The pricing is right on, the staff are very friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable.
Just moved here from Clearwater, and I must say these are the best Kale smoothies ever! The island spices are a great complement to the already delicious vegan food. Thank you for existing Kale Cafe ❤️
This place is amazing, we are in from out of town and found this little Gem. The food is amazing the juice is amazing. Thank you for having great vegan foods.
Amazing experience- laid back atmosphere, staff were notably polite and knowledgeable. The food is SO good, words cannot describe. We will be back.
I’ve been going here for a little over a year now, love & adore the place! The food is always fresh! Smoothies are a must-have! So excited for the new location in Port Orange! ���

We stumbled upon this little gem a couple of years ago while strolling on Beach Street and our vegetarian daughter fell completely in love with it! She finally found a place that caters to her in every way. So now it’s become our destination spot during our annual visit to NSB! If only it were not 902 miles from home 😏

I had the chickenless sandwich with there Mac-n-cheese. The food was amazing! I was looking forward to the raw cheesecake wasn’t on he menu for the day, maybe next time. What ever they massage there kale in is totally amazing!!!!
