Soul food is one of the BEST Soul Food Restaurants in town! Since the Pandemic hit, they are now carryout only. But you can call ahead, place your order and pick it up. The owners have a nice ventilator system that blows germs in the air back out the front door! Their sauces for their boneless wings are amazing! The fried chicken is made fresh to order and the baked turkey wings are the best in town!
I absolutely love the food here. Always made fresh, and the collard greens are soooo good.
The wing sauce options are different and so dang good. I highly recommend the buffalo jerk sauce.

I was working in the Daytona area needed lunch and came across this soul food restaurant, notice they had smothered turkey on rice that's when I started driving, also got the collard greens and black eyed peas with it. Growing up on smother turkey and rice in NC, I know how I like it and that's the way they prepared it. GOOD EATING...!
Maannnn im tempted to drive all the way back down here from Jacksonville for dinner. The plate i got yesterday was so delicious 🔥 and the LEMONADE!? Best lemonade i ever had, i need a gallon next time. Even the icecream was good. Cornbread was slightly dry, but still good. The lady that took my order was very nice. I will be back soon for sure
We’re bringing our daughter to college and wanted some good soul food BUT what we received was AMAZINGLY GREAT soul food. I had the fried pork chop dinner with Mac n cheese, cabbage & rice/gravy my daughter had Buffalo wings & fries. Both were VERY VERY delicious. We didn’t need any condiments & didn’t waste any of it. I also had their homemade lemonade…..AMAZING as well. This is the absolute BEST food that we’ve had in a very long time. You will not be disappointed!
Delicious! I have been in Daytona since January from NY and this is the first spot that had me damn near licking my plate. The dining room wasn’t open due to COVID but the first thing that caught my eye was the beautiful lighting fixtures. I’m definitely ordering again and I’m hoping I can dine in before I head back home.
My family and I were in town for the weekend and craved soul food. A quick search led us to this restaurant based upon top reviews. Well, we were not disappointed! The service and food were both winners! The turkey wings were so flavorful...cooked until tender! Nice sized portions!
