Rex's truly has the best breakfast in Dearborn! The owner's are great and the staff is friendly with great service❗️👍Homemade soups, homemade ranch dressing is amazing, and my favorite is the Rice Pudding‼️I love going there with family or my business meetings because it truly feels like home❗️😊
I am a busy mom with a busy family and Rex's has been a go to place for years, even when it was under another name! Everything is freshly made and more than that, the quality is consistent!! If I have a cold or feeling poorly, the homemade cabbage or lemon rice soup does wonders. It is a great place to dine in or carry out!
This is the best breakfast for your money in the area. The food is delicious, great portions and very reasonably priced. The staff is always friendly. The restaurant is very clean.
Mary Jane and I have been going here since our first date, when it was still Dimitri's. Now, new owners, and they were smart - they kept much of what was working for Dimitri's (so as not to ailenate Dimitri's loyal customers), but they have a new and considerably larger menu, reasonable prices, great food and service. If you haven't been there yet, check it out. Family friendly! Most dinners on their regular menu include soup AND salad (unlike many other restaurants that force you to choose one or the other. For us, that's a big deal. One of the things we liked about Dimitri's and something that Rex's carried over.
And...they have root beer! My favorite drink!

I can't remember the last time I had something wrong with my meal. Service and Food are out of this world. It's n not Fine Dining-but you get Great Prepared Dinners along with Lunch and Breakfast. Take a second and check them out. It will be your go to place for Good Food!

The parking lot was packed yet we didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes! Excellent food, great service!

This is the same business that I remember from 35 years ago, only the name has changed to . The owner Rex has been here since 1979, and I remember the food was good then, just as it is now. Our waitress was very attentive. We started with chicken noodle and I had cabbage soup. My friend ordered a patty melt with onion rings, and I had to BLT. Sorry I didn't get pictures of the soup, but both were super delicious. The patty melt Was Juicy, with just the right amount of cheese. My lblt was also done to perfection. After I are meal, she told us of the assortment of cakes that they had. Me being a foodie decided on the chocolate raspberry, which I decided is actually a black forest cake. They also had Cherry nut oh, and other very creamy Delight. The Taste was just as good as the Cheesecake Factory but at half the price. As you know I'm always a "check the bathroom" cleanliness girl and I like to check the air vents. I must say the vents and bathrooms were super clean. Thanks for the great meal, good wait staff, and relaxingambiance...we'll be back.
Love the restaurant people so nice they kept checking on us so often I felt loved. Even other waiters and waitresses said hi throughout the meal. Highly recommend the crepes I got the plain this time but will get all the fixings next time. 💙💙💙
This is the best resturant I've ever been to for breakfast, the staff is so passionate with their work ,smiling all the time and welcoming, they kept asking us frequently if we need anything, the food is amazing , I tried their very popular berry mix French toast it's so good and I liked their cofee too,I went their yesterday and the owner was giving away flowers on mother's day ,I would definitely come aging and bring the rest of my family
Always very good service, food and atmosphere. Food comes out fast a hot. Annette is the absolute best server. I love her. I would go steal her if I had a restaurant and I would make her head server.
