First Class in Deer Park is one of my favorite bagel places. I now live out of state but for a good 3 solid years, they were my weekly ritual, if not more. When I come visit they are usually my first morning stop as well as my last. I keep bringing their bagels back with me to give to friends and keep in my freezer for a taste of my NY home.
They also are one of the only places who serve an unadulterated, good ol' non-espresso, cup of coffee that I like. (Especially the iced coffee)
The sandwiches and soup are always on point as well. They are very good at getting my weird/picky orders, as well as my mundane orders, correct. Everyone is super helpful and personable which surprises me when I know some of them have been working since the wee-hours.
Keep it up! I miss your shop and your tasty noms.

Best best place for bagels in dear park. This place makes fresh bagels daily that has a line to the door almost always. There is a nice selection of bagels to choice from and they recently added some mini bagels which is perfect for gatherings. We always go here for our bagel sandwiches or just toasted bagel selection to take to family brunch. While there is almost always a line they move pretty efficiently so you don’t wait to long. They have a selection of different cream cheeses and salads (shrimp salad, potato salad, pasta salad, etc). They also have a nice bakery with amazing cookies & pastries. We love the open face and crumb cheese danish the best but their muffins are a close second. The other great thing about this place is the cheesecakes…so amazing! Our favorite is the crumb cake but they also have a strawberry and cherry one. The cheesecakes are so flavorful and rich with out being too rich and dense without being like a block of cream cheese. Love this place!
This is the best bagel spot in Suffolk, actually the best in Long Island. Spectacular service, feels like family, can't get enough of their sandwiches. So many great choices. I am sooo picky when it comes to fresh bagels and bagel sandwiches, this places surprises with every orders better then the last. Must try, won't regret it promise, top tier 🏆
Excellent bagel shop with nice ambiance. It has a nice siting area and it is clean. They have variety of bagels, and the bagels are soft and freshly made. I ordered the bacon egg and cheese, and my bagel hardly had any bacon in it, I expected a little more than what was served. But overall it looks like a decent place.
My go to bagel spot! I’ve tried many and coming from queens I still loved this place for bagels! I’ve tried Wally’s bagels and still come to this place. I’m not a huge fan of their pastries, they’re ok, and other menu items but they do bagels well! Not only is the variety insane for bagels, but the cream cheeses as well! Manager is super helpful and kind as well as the rest of the staff. Def depends on who’s making my bagel, but for the most part it comes out great.
Best BEC on Long Island! Food staff and owner are truly first class. Would highly recommend for any catering event or just a quick bite.
Best bagels, best egg sandwiches, when I went there the ladies that worked there in the mornings were just so wonderful and they knew me and what I wanted. They were just gave excellent customer service. Man I miss that place, went there every morning with my kids. Now I'm living in Hickory and there is nothing like it.
Going into first class bagel makes my morning, I get to smell all the fresh bagels of all flavors as well as all the pastries. The place is always clean and the staff is always very welcoming. I definitely will recommend first class Bagels to my friends and family. Foods fresh they make it exactly how you like it , the bakery side is always tasteful and my kids adore the mini cupcakes. Best part it all comes at a great price.

This place is the best. We moved but will still drive here to get bagels. Lots of varieties of cream cheeses. A lot of baked treats too. Danish, tarts, cupcakes, regular cakes. Egg sandwiches. Chopped salads. Lunch sandwiches. They even had toilet paper during the pandemic when nobody else did! Great staff. Highly recommend. Will definitely go back.
I love the endless amount of options they have for bagels and cream cheese. Fell in love with their Maple Walnut Cream Cheese with Strawberry Bagel!!! That was really goood!! Definitely going back there next time I'm in NY.
Outstanding Italian Wedding Soup. Pastries looked amazing, but I didn't try them this time. Dining area was a bit crowded - too many tables. I'm sure they need them when there is a crowd. Lovely people waiting on us.
There's another local deer park/ north Babylon bagel store in the area that has huge waits for take out and a huge following, but quite frankly....

I had to leave a review this time, because sprinkled in with other great reviews about the quality and variety of freshly baked bagels, I saw a few reviews complaining about how long the wait is and how the cost is “overpriced”.
I worked here as a teenager (manyyyy years ago), when it was called Deer Park Bagels and the truth is, nobody sees the labor that goes on behind the scenes, starting as early as 1 or 3AM. By the time the crowds start, those employees that you see scrambling behind the register, have already been working for hours to prepare for the busyness bagel stores are known for.
In terms of pricing- quality > quantity is key. Things aren’t overpriced if the quality is there- they just aren’t in YOUR budget & that’s fine.
I guarantee that meeting those employees with a smile and even some kindness will give you a great experience, because the quality of the bagels is undeniable. And yes, for good bagels- it’s almost tradition to wait on a long line on a Saturday morning.
Hands down the best cheese danish I have ever had in my life, and I have had quite a few.
Never any complaints for the last 10 years I've been coming here. Food is always fresh and on point, staff is always friendly and welcoming. Whether I'm getting a bagel, egg sandwich or one of their delicious pastries I always know I'll be getting fresh and delicious food!
Much more then a take out bagel shop. Combination deli, bakery, cooked meals. Eat in or take out.
