Cute, 50's diner theme with a large menu. We tried the gyro, chicken pita, and a chili cheese hot dog. Everything was really good! Service was friendly and the restaurant was very clean.
After returning a second time to Bobo's i changed my 4 to a 5 star rating. I have come to evaluate an eatery based on the question "what is the dining experience this place is trying to provide and how well did they do that?" Bobo's is a diner, from the 50s music on the radio, to the old booths, to the occassional shouting of the employees to one another about orders, they succeed in the most pleasant way on that front. There's nothing not to like about the food here. The seasoned meat is fresh cut from the bone and the portions are generous. The Spinakopita was buttery, flaky delicious too. The lunch rush can be pretty intense but you still won't wait long.
Drove out of my area to get to this establishment. Found it worth the trip.
Big menu beyond typical Hot Dog joints. Good looking Ribs, BBQ, fried and grilled Chicken, good salad choices even high quality ice cream! Nice clean family friendly vibe for a Better than average storefront place. However, I was there for the Gyros!

This place has the best food it is not in the area where I live I will drive out of my way just to eat here I love the skirt steak I can't get enough of it My 13 year old usually gets the Italian beef sandwich he loves it he says it's the best Italian beef sandwich he ever had he said the bread's not soggy the juice is good the meat is good he loves the way that they melt the cheese! Definitely worth the trip definitely affordable as well I plan on trying every dish that they serve in the future!
Highly recommend with plenty of homemade options. I love their Italian Beef sandwich. Zucchini sticks are also an excellent app. And I like the simple but delicious baked potato with sour cream and butter. Save room for dessert. The owners make a tasty Amaretto Bread Pudding from scratch, great with some ice cream and a coffee. Or their homemade warmed up brownie is another solid choice. Overall, the food is fresh and the owners take pride in their work. Ken and Linda help everyone feel welcomed.
My mom lives nearby and loves this place. I was visiting from Texas and had to try it. I had the grilled jumbo hot dog and fries. Delicious. Super staff, treats my mom great. They know her usual. Will be making a return trip.
Absolutely one of the best Greek restaurants in town. The Greek chicken dinner is the best. The service is excellent. This place is perfect for a family lunch or just to grab a quick bite. They take their time making your food and it always looks and tastes amazing.
Great Chicago style dogs! We live out of state came back for a visit and this was the first stop! This bright, clean eatery has friendly, paitent staff that provided great service. A perfect welcome back to Chicago! Lucky Chicagoans have this local gem right in their backyard. Will stop by every visit!
Best gyros there is!!!! No need to go to Greek town when this place exists. The food is fresh and it's flavorful, the staff is awesome and the fries completely crush anything else you will find. Every time I'm in the area I will be here to indulge in this wonderful place. You guys rock. Keep up the amazing food and atmosphere. This place is a staple to Deerfield IL.
I have been here many times and don't remember ever getting a bad meal or a messed up order like happens frequently at Popeye's. Gyros and grilled chicken pitas are very good. Service is excellent.
Had a lovely dining experience here. Friendly, polite staff who brought complimentary soup to the table for us to sample. Excellent Italian sausage sandwiches!
The gyro had a ton of meat and was very well-flavored and savory. The kids meals were cheap but came with a lot of food (including a scoop of icecream). The chocolate shakes were delicious. The kids actually won toys out of the claw machine. We will be back.
I read the reviews just to get a suggestion on what should I order .... and umm it’s does say gyro & hotdog lol they have theeee best gyro I had the 2 mini gyro meal only because it’s says mini don’t think they mini it’s loaded with meat I absolutely loved my food ...... ohh you have to try the bread pudding he(owner) said his wife makes it homemade ... to die for Especially with that sauce and ice cream!!!! (Follow his instruction on warming the bread pudding) I was in heaven I promise!
Tasty gyros! Waits are slowduring lunch rush but the quality is there with well cooked and seasoned gyro meat, fresh veggies, thick and flavorful tzatziki and good quality pitas. Will definitely visit again.
