they have really good orange chicken, and they give you great proportions for little price! a little bit of an attitude from the female owner sometimes though, which makes it seem like they’re bothered to serve you. but all in all you get a lot of food for what you pay for and it taste delicious.
Great food at reasonable prices and the portions are massive! The husband and wife that run Hot Rice are very friendly and welcoming to their customers.

Under $6. General Tso. Not sickly sweet. Super good. Go in the back (movie theater) door. It's in the food court of the nearly dead mall. Cash only.

Amazing. Quite possibly the best quick & cheap food I have ever eaten. I ordered the $4.85 special and got the spicy combo. The ratio of actual food to rice was perfect. The food was fresh (I was there right at open) and the owners/workers were really friendly. If I'm ever back in defiance oh and need food, I will be back for sure!
