Review China House - DeKalb

This was probably the best Chinese Buffet we've been to in a long time. The food was very good and fresh. Unlike most Chinese buffets we've been to lately where the food seemed to have been sitting out too long on the buffet tables. Even the restrooms were clean and well maintained.

The sushi is outstanding and the habachi will melt in your mouth... I drive 30 minutes with my sweetheart and it's worth the trip..Of course the company was perfect...

The food was tasty but could of used a few more choices...went to see about the Hibachi Table but all the meat pans where empty....so just went for the rest of choices the general chicken sauce was very tasty BUT the chicken was hard as a rock. I love the green beans 😋. The low main noodles where good too..and the spicy shrimp 🍤 was great... all in all I would eat here again.

While having a car worked on in the area, I walked here and enjoyed a delightful late lunch. The Hibachi was prepared fresh right in front of me, with selections of my choice. Delicious! The Sushi was also prepared well. Would recommend this place for the price, selection and service by polite staff.

Its been years since the last time i came by and the quality of food is still top for being a buffet. By far one of the cleanest places around and its nice inside. The outside could use a little work but dont let that fool you.

Great selection. The hibachi grill is good. I get all the veggies and an egg with garlic and it's delicious and a healthy option.

The prices are cheap and the buffet has a lot of varieties to chose from. Overall, it has been a good experience.

I guess this is a decent Asian buffet, but do not go here expecting good sushi. It was five or six different configurations of crab, cucumber, avocado and cream cheese wrapped in rice. The serving platters were never full. The "chef" working the sushi made a full platter, then looked myself and another customer right in the eyes before setting the full platter aside without putting it in the serving area, and began making another platter. There was only one partial platter available at the time and we were obviously waiting for a different platter. (Although I don't know why, it was the same ingredients designed a different way as I said before) All the subsequent platters I saw him make we're drowned in spicy sauce. It was ridiculous. It's been a long time since someone so blatantly wasn't interested in serving the customers. It was Sunday afternoon so 2 adults were $26 and change for a very unpleasant experience because we wanted sushi and it was advertised as a "sushi buffet". On the upside the waitresses were very friendly and kept our drinks full. Had we just been in the mood for a general Asian buffet I'm sure we wouldn't have been as disappointed. I really wish I would have taken pictures.
