I love the food here. The chicken and the perch are great. You will not find better-tasting chicken or perch anywhere in Dakalb/Sycamore. Give the restaurant a try. It will be worth it. Call ahead with your order and it will be made fresh!

This is the BEST CHICKEN around! She makes everything from scratch, and the chicken is super fresh! Her kitchen is cozy and classic. I recommend the potato salad. Best ever!

Fresh Homemade chicken. She hand batters every piece and fry it right there in fron of you (unless your smart enough to call order in). However, this method takes time as she's the solo cook. "Homemade."
