Let's start with the décor. They just put up old wood slats on the walls and nothing else. The booths look like they are homemade and falling down already. The girl working the counter was rude and completely not helpful, and you would think a place where you are going to be spending a decent amount of money would be comfortable, it was just as hot and muggy in there as it was outside, no air conditioning on at all. When Rays 1st opened we were there often. We do not have good bbq in Dekalb. Once they added the slots I have not visited much but the food is still great.

This place is a joke. Ribs were somewhat decent but the $4 side of macaroni was clearly just microwaved Stouffer's. I wanted to like this place but can't foresee myself going back there again.

Kool place with awesome employees! Will visit again the next time I head to Illinois.
