This is great bbq. Brisket and ribs rock! Kids love the Mac & cheese. This is a family go-to when we don’t feel like cooking.
Ribs are not supposed to fall off the bone and be drowned in sauce! They are supposed to have their own flavor and the sauce is to compliment. Ribs are not a vehicle for sauce. PBC gets that.
Loved the pulled pork! The coleslaw was some of the best i have ever had!
I'm a BBQ guy, and this is the best I've had in Pittsburgh! The brisket is phenomenal! And whatever these people do to make the baked beans is sinfully good! I like my sauce a little sweeter, but you don't throw out a Rolls Royce because it has a scratch on the fender. GO! EAT! You'll be hooked. Did I say the beans are great?
⚡ Good BBQ!. Went to this location for the 1st time on Sunday. We live close to & love the Banksville location. I can say this one does not disappoint! I had a brisket sandwich & mac n' cheese, my wife had the pulled chicken & macaroni salad, and my mom had the pulled pork w/ mac n' cheese. They were all quite delicious.
Noticed they have fountain drinks unlike the other location... and they said they have pulled chicken where Banksville doesn't. (Competition among franchises here?)
My wife said she could taste too much vinegar in the sauce, but I though it was pretty good. All the meats were tender, not dry, and it was a good amount of sauce to still be able to taste the meat. The sandwiches aren't cheap, but then again... they pretty much give you the standard takeout container FULL of meat that just happens to be sitting on top of your choice of hard or soft roll. (I think Banksville uses Cellone's rolls, & this place uses Brick Oven?)

Worth the Drive from Penn Hills. My wife and I drove out from Penn Hills. I work for a computer service company and saw this place while heading to a service call in Indiana PA. I had the Beef Brisket. Awesome. I haven't had Clem's in a few years so I'll have to reserve comparing with this place. Would I go back? You bet. My only complaint. They need to streamline the ordering process. Seemed a little disorganized. And it delays getting the awesome barbeque. I would recommend this place to all my friends and family. Worth the drive!
Decent BBQ. Sparse menu although they have the essentials. We would like to see some additional combo platters with more variety. Meats were very good with the brisket being the standout, moist, smoky and tender. Baked beans were also outstanding with a assortment of types in a sweet meaty sauce. A few indoor tables would be nice on windy days, our umbrella almost flew onto route 22. Better get some extra sauce on the side to supplement what's on the meat. Definitely will try again.
Pittsburgh BBQ is my go to food joint when I need either a great meal for myself and family, or when I have company from out of town. My favorites are the brisket, pulled pork and the mac and cheese. The meat is moist, smokey and flavorful. I also love the collard greens, as they hard to find around Western PA. I buy their BBQ sauce to keep in the fridge for use at any time. Yes, it is that good. And finally, the staff is always so friendly and helpful!
Nanette is a dream to work and plan with...our event is June 18th. Will update after...ok, had our event...Food was AMAZING! Pulled pork, chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, Mac n cheese, baked beans and corn bread with all the fixings! Sierra and Brad were AWESOME servers! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Hired for 40th birthday bash. Pleasant to work with while planning the event. Showed up on time. Food was good. Everything we asked for, no complaints.
Fast service, great portion size and price point. You can taste the smoke on the rubs and brisket, the cornbread is moist and fluffy and the mac and cheese was very hearty.
I cannot say enough good things about this company and the people who work there! They catered our wedding this past weekend and it was absolutely perfect. The food was incredible and the servers were fantastic. I got to work with Judee on all of the planning and coordinating and she is an absolute angel. She was extremely helpful and answered all of my millions of emails. Even up to the event, she was helpful and implemented any changes that I wanted quickly and with no complaints! She was there early on the day of the wedding and had everything set up when I arrived to begin decorating! She was incredibly helpful and sweet, the whole experience was amazing, I cannot recommend the food and people enough!!
Great food. I personally didn't like the BBQ sauce they use but the meats are very delicious. Service is amazing. Very friendly staff.
