Incredible portion sizes of delicious food! Service was good, too, and the decor was so eclectic and unique! We've been to one other place similar and it is in Sault Saint Marie, Michigan...a place called Antlers, like Adobe Deli, a must see if you go. Adobe Deli was worth the drive out of town a bit!
Went to the Adobe Deli for the first time tonight. Let me tell you, if you've never went there, it's definitely worth the trip out passed Deming!! For starters we had Jalapeño Bottlecaps, then next came out the highly recommended French Onion Soup. Let me tell you, that soup is to die for!! It was absolutely the best!! Pretty sure that's what soup in Heaven tastes like!! Finally for our main course, we were presented with one of the best Ribeyes and T-Bones I've ever had from a restaurant!! Oh and before I forget, the place is just downright cool inside and is definitely a sight to see!! Lastly, the service we had tonight was incredible!! Definitely a 5 star meal with 5 star service!!
Very unique place, Jill, our waitress, was very helpful and showed good old hometown respect. Great meal, steaks and burgers, and passed a bowl of the French Onion soup around the table. On the way out, the owner allowed us to tour the wine cellar and all the other rooms, like walking back in time. We will make it a point to go back often, worth the 50 mile drive...
Found the Adobe Deli while searching for best places to eat in "Deming, NM". A little (out of the way) but well worth the drive from Deming to get there. I had their ribeye, medium rare and it was the best steak I have had since, I can't remember. Great atmosphere & staff. My wife & I are from Michigan so I can't see us coming back anytime soon. If you are anywhere near this place, stop in. You will be glad you did.
The French onion soup is the best ever. Had the best cheeseburger in many years! Great service! The owners daughter was our waitress she was awesome!! They give you lots of food have soup and split any sandwich the ribs at the next table looked great so worth it to just go see the place! Great eats, service and fun place!!
The Adobi Deli is a fantastic place to eat! All the food is to die for! It is not a fast place to eat but prepare for a great experience and atmosphere! The signage for the corner could use a little work! Hard to read!
This place is awesome! The staff was really friendly and I felt like I knew them forever.the food was great,price was great! It was my birthday and I was given the biggest and best piece of carrot cake ever! Tons of interesting stuff everywhere! Highly recommended by ME!

If you haven't been you gotta go! The Adobe Deli is not only a great place to eat but you get to wonder and take in all the eclectic atmosphere.

I really wish I could give more than 5 stars. I had the pleasure of dining at Adobe Deli in 2011. It is truly a hidden jewel. The drive there keeps you in anticipation because someone has told you this is a great place to eat, and you think you're never gonna get there. Once there, you wonder if you are at the correct location because it looks like an old abandoned warehouse (if my memory serves me correctly). Believe me, Looks are very deceiving! This place has the FINEST Filet Mignon and French onion soup I have ever tasted. We ate here about once a week or two while I served as a traveling RN to Deming Hospital. Absolutely the very best food I have ever tasted! If you get the chance to visit, maybe even just passing through Deming, NM, You HAVE to stop and eat here. My only regret regarding Adobe Deli is that I live in Alabama and my family refuses to move to New Mexico.
This is one of the most beautiful places to dine at in Deming, New Mexico. The interior design is straight out of a western film. It helps that the staff is lovely and treats their customers with utmost respect. I love this place. I had a conversation with the owner and this is what he said about the porkchop they serve there, " I cut my own meat. I get them dirt cheap. See, I could have easily sold them for $20 and given you what you get at a diner, but why not share the wealth with the customers? If you are gonna pay us $20 for a fucking porkchop, God damn it son, you're getting $20 worth of porkchop."
Great steak, excellent service, and fun/interesting place with lots of character. Definitely off the beaten path but well worth finding .
This is our go to place anytime we’re in Deming!! I absolutely love their French onion soup and their steaks are some of the best and so tender!! The sandwiches are so huge that we usually split one. You can go wrong eating at the Adobe Deli!!!
I enjoyed my lunch at the deli. Good, friendly people. I had the ribs. The presentation was Very unique. Not fall off the bones ribs, but good flavor over all. Fun meal. Dad had a green chile cheese burger. Onion rings were crisp. Coffee was also tasty. I'll stop by again for a sandwich. Lots to see around the restaurant. Menu had lots of gourmet options.
Interesting place. Onion soup was great. My friends had a turkey club and it was a great sized serving! Wish they would have had a hard cider on tap. (Or even a can/bottle) Only one server who was working fast! There were quite a few tables that got there before us and we felt the service was excellent with the limited staff. Thank you! We hope to be back again!
Traveling on a Sunday evening we came across this place as it was one of the only places open!! Wow!! It is a little off the interstate but it is well worth it! We ordered the pork chop dinner, we usually always order steak, it was excellent! Service was outstanding (Madison) lots of interesting old memorabilia! We travel a lot and rarely ever leave a review but this place is worth taking the time to write a review!
The food and service was outstanding. Steak cooked perfectly. Baked potato was great. The onion soup was a meal in itself. Would definitely return if in the area again. Highly recommend this place.
Amazing service, great atmosphere with character. This is not a place for people who are the "whiny about every ingredient" type. The menu is what it is and it's great. The food is top notch and if you want an authentic southwest ranchers meal this is your place.
Atmosphere is unparalleled- Theres so much to see! We loved it! We had an awesome time here! Food was great, beer was cold and service was top notch.
Off the beaten path just a bit, but don't let that scare you.. it was easy access back on the freeway - we were towing our 5th wheel and access to the restaurant was easy/easy parking.
Adobe deli is amazing. Some will appreciate this; Adobe deli has the best coffee in Luna County. To go in is a walk back in history. I posted pictures so you can appreciate what just a bit of what I experienced. I had the barbecue brisket with French onion soup. It is a bit on the pricey side but with that price came excellent food with proportions to satisfy the hardest appetite. The onion soup and barbecue brisket sandwich were both excellent. The best part though was the ambiance is conducive to what can only be defines as a superior dining experience !
