The sweet and sour sauce is very thin. It doesn't really coat the chicken very well. The fried rice is very bland. My daughter liked the sesame chicken. It's not really my thing. 4 people had the dinner buffet with drinks and it cost us $80 personally I thought that was very high considering I've had much better. Will not visit this place again. 😕

It's a Mongolian Buffet but has all the dishes that a Chinese buffet would offer. It opens around 11 am. We were there at 11 15 am. Wasn't busy was greeted in the reception. We were 2 people was seated in a nice quiet spot. Next drinks were offered general fountain drinks. Was amazed by the number of dishes I made an effort to taste each and everyone no complains. For the value they offer its awesome. By the time we left every table was occupied. Restrooms were kept very clean. Tables and cutlery all clean. Staffed adequately was efficient in taking away the used plates. Very satisfied will recommend to anyone good value money

Food is good quality, fresh. Host(ess) experience leaves a lot to be desired but is expected. Variety is good and fresh, options are typical Chinese buffet. There are some bright spots and some let downs, but all-in-all a pleasant dining experience.

Worst food I have ever eaten. Rice was not cooked through. Rest of food had a strange taste to it, couldn't eat but 2 bites. Tried the salad bar same thing. 2 bites and left. Will never eat here or any other Buffet King again.

One of the best buffets i love going here. The restrooms could use a bit more cleaning other than that a great variety of foods.

What can I say, it is what you'd expect from a typical high volume Chinese buffet. The sushi was grocery store quality. Your not going to get anything fancy. The hot items were all the staples you can expect. The stand out dish for me was a sea food salad. Quite tasty. I did not get an opportunity to sample the Mongolian grill portion, so no comment there. Would I return? Not anytime soon.

Very Good!. I was very impressed with the food and service here. Where else can you have sushi, squid, octopus, etc. for under $13!? Everything was great!

I will never dine at this restaurant again! <br/>I was very disappointed in their food! But all the other customers seemed to be having a wonderful time and enjoying their food. I absolutely could not enjoy the food because it ... well, it all seemed to have this certain "taste". This was my first visit to Buffet King. It was Sunday evening and they were very busy. I was shocked that the food was as bad as it was because they had so many customers. However, the sushi would have been perfect if that "taste" wasn't in the wasabi. Lesson learned! Should've gone to Dani Rae's next door!

Always fresh! Food is average and priced ok.

Favorite Chinese Takeout. Buffet King is our favorite Chinese takeout spot right now. They are fast (having the meal wrapped up and ready to go in 10-15 minutes). Everything we've gotten there has been great -- most notably the meat seems to be of better quality than other places we've been to (there's not many fatty or chewy bits in the meat). The sauces are flavorful, and the portions are large. They stuff containers full to bursting. Have not tried eating in at the buffet yet, but hopefully will soon!

Even though the buffet price on the weekend is close to $13, Buffet King has a great selection of good Chinese food plus a Mongolian grill section. For lunch on a weekday (around $8 I believe) it would be a great deal. We'll definitely come back

Good for the price. Clean friendly enviroment. The sushi was actually better than expected. Decent selection of items. 7/10

I love buffet king. Buffet King has completely spoiled me with their sushi. For $10 you can have all the fresh sushi, made before your eyes, you want, tuna, salmon, shrimp, octopus, california rolls, shrimp tempura rolls and more. So good. I can't stand to pay for sushi anymore, I just come here. $60 at a sushi bar or $10 at buffet king for the same product? There's no question, I'm going to buffet king. The rest of the buffet is pretty typical chinese buffet stuff. There's a make your own mongolian stir fry section that's pretty good as well but it doesn't have any interesting chinese ingredients, just the kind of stuff you'd find in an average grocery store produce aisle.

If eating out at a Chinese buffet is your thing, you're not alone. Buffet King, Denton's newest such restaurant has only been open a few months, yet it's drawing the crowds. Easily accessible near the southeast intersection of I-35 and Loop 288 near the G
