In this 7eleven today 03/07/2021 $ 20 has been stolen from me that is as a cashier at 3.00pm. And when I go to claim, why will I be charged? $ 20 dollar more. They started treating me with discrimination. and they never returned my $ 20 dollars .... and this is not the first time that they have treated me with discrimination before. . and enough of abuse. because we are all human beings. and all lives matter and we are all of great value in this world

Would rate less than one if I could. Today I just got into the store and looked for some cleansing stuff, the Asian man working here stopped me and claim I was going to stole something just because I did put a thermostat into the wrong place. And I tried to clarified to him that it was just a mistake, he disbelieves me and tried to call the police. Seriously, this is NOT a joke, it is a racist practice that can be declared as a crime! I can't wait to report this case to the local department and hope that racist Asian worker would be unemployed.

I'm an ex-empyee to this store. I worked here for about six months. The reason as to why I'm giving this store a bad review? Personally I feel the time has come that I should share my experience from both perspectives as an employee and a customer. Business practices by the owner, mistreatment and manipulation of employees and customers, and bigotry have forced my hand, I feel the store should be shut down and replaced with something better.
On the subject of mistreatment and manipulation. In store employees have a privilege that should only have been given to corporate level workers. As an associate we were allowed to buy things, and have it taken off of his or her paycheck. This however as an associate working for this particular store, was not something you wanted to be doing. The owner which I will leave a unnamed, would go back into the computer and change the amount to something higher or round-up. Say you want to buy lunch and maybe a soda, but you end up spending more than you thought you would. A pizza with tax at 7-Eleven typically cost to 6.01 a and a Double Gulp it's going to cost you 1.35, all together that costs 7.36. But the owner counts on you not to check, he gets on the computer and sets it to 10 dollars flat. A lot of the money that comes in for the company relys heavily on fixed payroll purchases, if you work here don't payroll.
Customers Trust that you will rotate food in the freezers and coolers and Dry Goods area, but this isn't always the case at this store. One example I'd seen first hand, tampering with the sell-by date. When I first heard about this I was horrified to hear that someone bought a burrito and was filled with something green that wasn't supposed to be in there. The customer obviously knew something was wrong because the burrito was bean and cheese. The owner would take items that were expired to the back and put items back with a sticker, that gave a later date. If those items then it's so they would eventually go bad and I would stay up there until they did, the more expensive items anyway.
This is a very sensitive topic but you will never see anybody of African American descent working at this 7-Eleven. Why? You might ask.
Because the owner is racist. If you ever go in there and him or his wife are looking at you in a suspicious way, just tell them: let me ship, or I'm leaving. I know plenty of people who would find that uncomfortable, being stared at while they shop. It's very unprofessional behavior and it needs to stop.
If you live in the Denton area do not shop at 7-Eleven on West Oak st. As my regulars that I used to serve, you certainly deserve better take your business to CVS or Kroger.

Poor selection and very poor staff. I've tried to regular this gas station because it's so close but the people are so rude everytime i go in there, I'd rather go out of my way to get half decent service. If blank stares and mean mugs don't make you uncomfortable, then this is the place for you, otherwise, look elsewhere for your gas and convience needs because this one fails on all fronts

The woman who was working today in the evening has provided me great customer service. She is literally the nicest employee and made me feel so welcome when I visited the store. It will be my favorite 7-Eleven store in Denton for sure. Thank you so much.

I stopped for directions on how to get home and the help there was extremely helpful and pretty to boot. Thank you 7 11 for having such great help. Just wish I would remember the young ladies names. Hit me up

Far as I can see, everything is generally the same as any of the other stores, except that they are extremely friendly here....that's why I pick this place first. The new one on University has your typical "I hate my horrible life and job" attitude, but then some.
It's hard to find anyone who actually genuinely smiles at work......it's nice to see.
Update: At night, lots of people hanging out around the front of the store, looking like they are drunk... making people want to turn away.. not good for business. At night younger kids work there..is that the reason this is happening, are they irresponsible?

It is always clean, there is always fresh coffee, and there are very friendly and helpful employees. They get to know their customers and it makes people want to come back. There are other convenient stores near my house, but I always go here because of the great customer service.
