I have never been here before. Which is unfortunate because it was probably the best sushi restaurant I’ve ever been to in my life. The food was fresh, watching the sushi preparation was the best table in the house, so always ask for the sushi bar. Our server was decent. He almost hovered too much for me, Ordered aplethora of dishes, definitely try the duck udon. It was the best bowl I shared in my life.. had some seaweed salad, which was very very good. Check with your server about what comes with what you order because there were soups and salads that came with the meal that I had not known about when I ordered. The sushi rolls were made to perfection. , all of the different sauces were available it was wonderful. If you’re a sushi lover, like most of us are save your pennies and go to this place. It’s great for groups. You can go there by yourself and have a wonderful meal. Whatever your fancy is, I’m sure you’ll be satisfied. The sushi chefs had great sense of humor. They smiled. They even talked to you, of course knowing just a drop of Japanese would be appreciated I’m sure on both sides. I will definitely be coming back! Arigato Sushi Den!!!!!

Sam was absolutely AMAZING! The hostess was TERRIBLE. Would not recommend it, but the manager & Sam saved the night, or my rating would've been 1 star had we used the rude disposition of the hostess as the barometer. It was my birthday, I was wearing a HBD tiara & holding balloons, yet the hostess still decided to be unpleasant despite all the signs that a celebration was the reason we were there. Overall, we had a lovely evening, and the food was to die for! Top notch! SUPERB! BRAVO 👏🏽 👏🏽

This sushi restaurant is a true gem! The fish is incredibly fresh, bursting with flavor. The presentation is stunning, like edible works of art. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The chic and modern ambiance adds to the overall experience. Highly recommended for sushi lovers looking for an exceptional dining experience!

It’s the lighting on the top floor that really gives the environment a soothing feeling - won’t sit anywhere else. Had to be agressive and flag down service to get anything, but it is good food once they provide service. You are a bit cramped, so listening in on the table overs conversation is super easy - we spent our date night listening to a table over complain about Whole Foods four 45 mins in the most pretentious way. I guess it was rather comical and we got a good laugh. Don’t go if you like privacy or want a sense of intimacy.

We’re long time diners here and at Sushi Den and at this time Izakaya Den and Sushi Den are operating as one restaurant. We got reservations at Izakaya den and ended up sitting at the sushi bar in Sushi Den, great! My wife is a Japanese National and I have been to Japan with her many times. Unquestionably this is the best Japanese restaurant in the entire region (of the USA) and is one of the very few Japanese restaurants we consider going to as the quality is as good as Japan, and many of the fishes are shipped directly from Japan. We came for my wife’s birthday and they had just received a shipment from Japan - my wife went crazy, this may have been the best meal we ever had there! As usual, the cocktail menu was excellent and nicely varied, the staff was wonderful and the chef and my wife conversed in Japanese. Once again her birthday meal was very special and memorable! Folks who don’t give this restaurant a good rating either order the American adapted dishes or don’t truly understand sushi and Japanese food, that’s fine, you like what you like, but true Japanese food aficionados are certain to be VERY impressed.

Our families 1st choice for sushi. Best food ! Best service. Best environment!! Never disappointed !! I want to give the assistant that spent a long time on the phone with me - accommodating our requests - when it was clear he was very busy on Saturday December 23rd - around 12 noon. Please let him know my sincere gratitude !!

This is the very best Japanese and sushi restaurant in metro Denver. From start to finish, every dish was beautifully presented and tastefully flavored. So authentic in taste..just like my mom, aunties and grandmothers! Our waiter was friendly, professional and timely. Such a special place to celebrate New Years eve!

Amazing! Never really thought I would enjoy sushi(being a vegetarian). This place is a gem. Their vegetarian sushi and rolls are so good! Highly recommend trying out their Miso eggplant and garden rolls. The waiter assisted us really well with all the dishes. Great place, great staff, great experience! Must try if you’re in Denver.

Attached to Sushi Den, it’s a neighborhood classic. I like sitting upstairs and Izakaya Den, we sat at the bar this time. The super tall ceilings, open vibes, and friendly staff make this place a good spot. I can’t believe how good the eggplant appetizer is! Absolutely, must try.

John provided the most incredible service and made our dining experience so special! He is so knowledgeable with the entire menu, especially the Sake! He gave us so much insight with all the different bottles of Sake and everything he recommended was incredible. Will definitely be back to see John soon! He’s the best 🩷

Best Japanese cuisine in town, what stood out the most was the hospitality. If you are ever visiting Denver this is The place to fine dine. Call ahead for reservations. Our whole family was impressed with how delicious the food was. Don’t forget to try the chocolate cake and pineapple upside down cake. Might go back tonight since we loved it so much. I had tofu steaks, and spicy garlic edemame. Gyoza, paneo oyster, short rib, and chicken teriyaki. Sushi rolls were delicious too!

Delicious and fresh sushi in an elegant setting. A little pricier then the average sushi joint but well worth it. Unfortunately they don’t take reservations so especially on the weekends there is usually a long wait if you get there after 5. No parking lot but usually plenty of parking within a few blocks. Some of our favorites were the miso black cod, shrimp and lobster wontons, crispy tuna and Kobe beef roll. Yum!!

Best sushi in Denver. The Spain fatty tuna is the bomb, but honestly it’s all good. Never a low moment when we come here except for when I get the check. It’s worth it though.

We arrived at 4:20pm yesterday, to be seated at opening and there was already a healthy line. Loved our table upstairs in their 'patio' room with a pretty view of the twinkle lights outside. Ordered from both the specials and regular menu and were delighted with everything. The fresh tuna and seared salmon were my favorite. Great health & safety protocols in place, including temperature checks, table spacing and 90 minute allotment for dining. Our server was a little quiet but very polite. Look forward to going again.
