Absolutely delicious! I live within walking distance and this restaurant is perfection đ„°
I had scallops the other night and they were incredible. There's not a bad menu option. Also the deserts are divine! Sit outside and enjoy people watching, drinking wine and eating delicious food! đ
Went here for a friends birthday. Had the Schnitzel De Poulet a fried chicken breast, lima bean cassoulet, capers, orange marmalade. It was one of the more comforting meals Iâve had in years. My wife kept attacking my dish to devour it.
Love the new location of this iconic restaurant. Beautiful space, more open and hip, and the food is better than ever. Had the French Onion soup, Ott Provence Rose was suggested by my server; Beautiful and a great pairing with the sweetbreads. Service was great. Excellent experience!
We came here last Sunday for our anniversary and the whole staff signed a card for us. The food was phenomenal. We ordered chicken liver mousse for appetizer and it was silky and delicious. For entrees, we had duck a l'orange and pork sausage with champagne-poached pear and they were both fantastic! For desserts, we got caramel apple cheesecake and chocolate souffle and they were amazing!
Great place! We shared the mussels, ragadichio salad, onion tart (which was small in size) and asparagus. Desert also delicious.
Our meals were phenomenal. The wine selection was very good. I loved the Bordeaux 3 of us ordered the hanger steak and it was cooked perfectly. We loved the mussels. And they had wonderful GF bread and a chocolate soufflé that was also GF! Our server was very friendly , attentive and knowledgeable. I wish I took pictures ! We will definitely be back.
Absolutely delicious and such an intuitive and kind staff. They brought out a super yummy treat before the food we ordered (my partner tried it) but alas it had cream in it so I couldnât have it. Without me saying anything other than the waiter should have it then, they brought me something dairy free and even a little dish of olive oil for my bread. Our waitress came to our table and said âI understand we have a dairy allergy is that correct?â Yep. No cheese or anything good like that for me :( she warned me the escargot did have cheese on it which was awesome of her.
We were served promptly, the bartender made me a custom drink which was phenomenal, the food was amazing, we were checked in on often but not too often.
Highly recommend the steak tartare. Itâs top notch. Only second best to my favorite spot all the way back in Oregon where Iâm from.
A must try spot.
Beautiful new space in Park Hill with a chic design and French-inspired flair. The service and food are both outstanding. (How often do you feel
compelled to stand up and sing about an onion tart?) Weâll be back very soon!
Itâs hard to improve upon perfection but Bistro Vendome does just that in their new location! Iâve been a regular at their downtown location for years but was excited to check out their new spot! It did not disappoint! From great people watching views to comfy seats and a chill vibe, everything at their new place is wonderful!
The service is still top notch and the food is somehow even better than before! The fancy butter with the bread and the to die for escargot are a must!
I tried the trout with almonds for my main course and was blown away by all the flavors for something so simple!
Donât forget dessert! Their chocolate soufflĂ© with dulce de leche crĂšme anglaise is NOT to be missed and now itâs gluten free for all to enjoy!
Bistro Vendome is my favorite restaurant in all of Denver for their food, their friendly and impeccable service and their little hand touches like a birthday card signed by the staff.
I adore this place and you will too!
Everything you want in a French restaurant; thoughtful service, robust flavors, and to leave feeling happy.
My wife and I treated ourselves to four hors dâoeuvres and each was uniquely impressive. We had a mocktail and a cocktail that enhanced the whole experience. We chose one of the paired plates as a main course and finished with a desert that left us fully satisfied.
We are so happy to have this restaurant near our home and enjoy a true French dining experience.
Very good French food. The steak was cooked perfectly, the fries were amazing, the mussels were awesome, the soufflĂ© was incredible. If youâve never tried French food, this would be a great place to experience it.
We were bummed when tables closed last year but Bistro Vendome will be a very welcomed addition to the neighborhood! My wife and I had an early date night the other night and wow it was great (good luck getting a reservation anytime soon)! They have only been open for about a week at the Kearney location so I think getting in will only get easier as time goes on.
Our dinner was fantastic! Spring for the extra cost for the fancy butter! We had both, and the imported butter was great! Then they brought out with the french allium and lobster bisque soups! Dang! Then we moved to the escargot gratinee and moules! The escargot was absolutely fantastic!! The muscles were good, but definitely overshadowed by the escargot. For our dinner we had the Duck Ă lâOrange. No surprise, amazing as well! Dessert is was an ice cream sampler and it was a great way to end the dinner. We will definitely be back! Very excited to have another top notch restaurant in the neighborhood!
Stopped in to feast on bisque , pate, and rabbit. All were made well and very tasty. Bisque was delicate but full bodied, pate was flavorful but not overpowering, and the rabbit and veg was done well and to my liking. Service was also very nice and accommodating for a last minute walk in. Yum!
This is me and my wifeâs favorite place to eat in all of Denver. We personally love the duck eggs Benedict, fries, endless mimosas, and the croquet madam. It has a wonderful atmosphere in a corner of Larimer square. Would absolutely recommend.
This is the cutest little French bistro and it's perfect for celebrating something special. We went for our 1-year wedding anniversary and it was spectacular.
We were seated on a gorgeous patio with adorable string lights and beautiful roses. Our server was fantastic and she helped me choose the right wine and a great hors d'oeuvre from the seasonal menu.
For dinner, I had the duck confit (it was really good) and my husband had the Steak au poivre. We both really enjoyed it, but it wasn't the best we've ever had. Still, it was definitely worth it.
I will say that the dessert list and the coffee service is exceptional. You should definitely order both and sit and enjoy the weather under those beautiful lights.
I will never forget this place, it was the best lunch I've ever had in my life. The waiter was so friendly and helpful. We started with a cheese plate, and I've never had Roquefort so creamy and delicious anywhere. The food descriptions were as exotic sounding as the French titles, and absolutely delicious. I think I spent over 3 hours enjoying the food, atmosphere and conversation on the patio, even after it started raining.
UPDATE: my previous rating was a 3/5 because of the food. I must have gone on a bad day or maybe it was because it just opened in the new location and they were adjusting. But when I went in Dec 2023 the food was excellent - everything from the appetizer (onion tart) to the main course (scallops) to the ice cream desert (chocolate fudge brownie) was delicious. Changing rating to 5 stars.
Old review below:
Love the location and space. Service was good. Food was just average.
French Onion Soup was average- nice and cheesy but lacked flavor.. Pork was average- not much seasoning and lukewarm. Mushroom Tagliatelle was below average. Escargot was decent.
Bread and butter were good.
Mocktails were excellent.
Old Fashioned was good.
Manhattan was average.
Overall a lovely atmosphere but disappointing culinary experience.
Alright, today's meal at Bistro Vendome was out of this world. Upon arrival we were pleasantly greeted by the two bartenders Bobbe and Masha who got us seated right away. We weren't sure if we wanted to drink or not so Bobbe made some great suggestions and delivered a delicous Rosemary Almond cocktail for both of us to try.
We then started with a Cajun Gumbo garnished with Potato salad, which was pleasantly seasoned and well executed. The dish took us right back to Louisiana.
Then the Alsacian Schnitzel! My goodness the Cassoulet and the orange marmalade was the best dish I've had in a while.
If you haven't visited this quaint restaurant in Park Hill, do yourself a favor and get these dishes and say hi to the team. They're great!
What a wonderful addition to the Park Hill neighborhood. The food is fantastic and the service, even better! Been here 3 times for dinner and have loved every item we ordered. Really love the happy hour offerings as you get to try items not on their regular menu. Can't wait to go back!
