LOVED Jelly Cafe. Great vibe, great service, great food. We got Haco Benedict, Molly Hot Brown, Cinnamon Roll pancake and Aztec Hash and all were served hot and Delicious. The menu was great- many good options make it hard to decide. Really great options for gluten free and vegetarians. The coffee was lovely and staff come frequently for refills. Young crowd but welcoming to all. Overall, charming restaurant and delicious breakfast. We'll be back!
Went there for breakfast today after making a reservation online. They don't seat you without the entire party, so make sure that everyone in your party gets there in time.
Food was pretty good overall. The donut bites were the best of the lot. The corn flakes french toast was yummy and the haco Chili Biscuit tasted good. The molly hot brown was a little too filled with gravy or some sauce - wasn't the favorite of the table.
Service was kinda meh. Especially the person who was bringing the food out, didn't look like they were having a good day. Folks taking the order were better. Could have checked on our coffee and water more though.
Parking in the area is not great. Took us a few minutes to find parking.
I got their biscuits and gravy and french fries actually because I'm not a huge fan of the large potatoes! They both were excellent. The gravy was really great! One of the best in the city for sure. I got to-go. Ordered online, super fast. Super cute cafe! Will have to come here for their pancakes because they look delicious!
Great portions and great food. The only thing that put a sour taste in our mouth today was the fact that their own menu (QR code and physical) had different pricing on it than our bill. When we questioned the bill, the waiter made it seem like giving us a "discount" was a favor to us. Also some of the pictures didn't reflect the menu items which was a bit misleading as we had to add on things that were pictured as part of the meal. Otherwise I highly recommend the food.
Hit this place up before dropping into Wax Trax recently. Great spot for a bite and food was just right. Amazed at the jelly filled donut holes and the variety available. Service was spectacular and patio seating was a nice bonus.
Got there just in time. All of a sudden it got super busy! I had the Biscuits and Gravy with extra crispy hash browns. They were good. Also ordered an assortment of their donut bites. They were pretty good. Not outstanding, but they're bites, so just a Morsel of happiness!
Highly recommend grabbing breakfast or brunch here! I was here on a weekday so there was no wait. I ordered the Basic Breakfast and added a Lavender Blueberry Pancake, so delicious! I was blown away by the Lavender Blueberry Pancake, definitely a must-try.
Weekday brunch was a home run—they shred the corned beef hash, and the texture and flavor were both excellent. The poached eggs came out slightly over done (ordered easy and received < medium), but everything else was such a hit that I can’t complain. Highly recommend this place for brunch.
Service was very friendly and quick!
Ordered the French toast crusted with cornflakes and berries on top. Delicious!!!
Everything else on the menu sounded good too! Maybe next time I’m in town!
We tried a dozen of the donut bites- delicious!
I had a single blueberry lavender pancake and the basic breakfast- everything was yummy.
Exceptional! We have been here for brunch a handful of times within the last couple of years. There is generally a longer wait to get seated, but that is usually a sign that it’s worth the wait. From our experiences here, let me tell you, that is the truth! (Tip: Join the wait list though YELP, otherwise be anticipating a longer wait, especially on the weekends.)
The variety of donut bites is a great way to start! Made to order fresh mini-donut balls with assorted toppings. (Gluten Free bites are also available). A couple of our favorite dishes are the Eggs Benedict (classic) and the Hill Side Scramble. Another favorite to pair with your entree is the Rustic Potatoes, topped with chives and sour cream.
Being an Eggs Benedict connoisseur (haha), this is something I often check out at most breakfast joints. This is one of my favorites in town. It’s classic, so it has poached eggs with smoked ham, but is served over artisan sourdough, which is the perfect touch. And of course, it’s smothered in hollandaise.
We have always had great food, along with servers who are friendly and helpful. I’d definitely recommend Jelly Cafe and will be returning soon!
The food is phenomenal. Their breakfast and lunch menu is unique. GET ON THEIR WAIT LIST THROUGH YELP. There’s always a wait… parking can be tricky in the area as well. I don’t recommend their donuts. Cool flavors but are always chewy/hard. colorful and interesting decor. Service is wonderful.
This location does have alcohol but the drinks are a bit pricy and lack much alcohol. Not a place for bottomless mimosas, especially since there’s a quick turn around time, but a wonderful place for a great meal and unique experience.
This is made to order breakfast that takes you to a happy place. I'm a pancake 🥞 lover. Bacon, jalapeno, and corn in the pancake. Wow, it's the next level of savory meets sweet. Very maple flavor syrup. Blueberry and lavender 💜. Yes, lavender 💜. Oh, so good. Laid back, family-friendly Denver vibe.
I thought this place was awesome! I think their biscuits and gravy, eggs Benedict and pancakes were all fire. Prices are strictly average - not super cheap but not expensive either, a good middle ground! I got takeout from here, so I firmly believe all the minor gripes I had with the food are because of that (things were a little soggy when opening it up once I got home).
I’ll be coming out of my way to eat here again! Supper happy to have a great brunch spot within walking distance to me!
Jelly Cafe was lovely. The vibes were spectacular and the service and food were great. The donut bites…get them. So good.
Decent food and drinks. Donut bites were fun and creative. Only downside is that we had to sit in the enclosed patio and eventhough it had heat it came on periodically and the ground was still cold. I visited in January.
great service, great atmosphere, great food. carmel iced latte was delicious, and the veggie biscuits and gravy (with eggs) was hard not to devour. unfortunately boyfriends french toast was a bit underdone in the center, but the flavors were there. the donut holes could’ve been skipped, but the jam one stood out the most. definitely worth stopping by and trying out :•)
