I’ve been here a handful of times and every time has been excellent! Food always delicious, and with great service! They have a large craft beer selection! My servers provide helpful advice as to what to order based on my preferences as well as an ample amount of samples. The rooftop patio has a nice view of Mile High Stadium and downtown Denver. Ale House is also a short walk to Little Man Ice Cream which is a fun stop.

Contacted Ale House about doing an informal alumni gathering (Gettysburg College) and we could not have picked a better spot! Gave us beautiful, private space on 1st floor and could not have been more accommodating for our group of 30. Great beer selection, bountiful food options and our server, Haley, was a ROCK STAR! Would go back in a second, and location is awesome, too. Thank you!!!

Good spot for lunch on Roof when walking around the Platte and highlands on a weekend. My fiend claims he had the best burger he'd ever had there. Staff is great and pro. Loved the deconstructed chicken pot pie myself. Good beer selection.

Every meal I’ve had has been absolutely delicious! Good portion sizes too without gauging you with Highlands prices. Most recently, the prime rib gyro .

We had the Prime Rib Friday night special, and the Southwest burger. Both were excellent. The atmosphere and view of the Denver skyline were lovely. Friendly staff, cheerful diners all around!

We had a wonderful lunch of Fish and Chips. I asked for a recommendation for a beer, the bartender gave me a sample of what he thought I would like. He was right on. ALE SMITH NUT BROWN. People are so nice, the place is spotless, highly recommend.

Have the carnitas wontons or the peanut butter and jelly bacon burger! Indescribably delicious! Water misters on the rooftop cool you down in the summer. Fire pit tables warm you up in the cooler months. Great service!

We got here around 945 pm on a Thursday night, so parking was easy. As soon as we got here, we were waiting to be seated but the waiter told us to just seat anywhere we want. The waiter was somewhat attentive. We needed a soda refill for the longest time and we couldn't get our waiter's attention. When we did get his attention, he was very nice. The shrimp and grit was spicy for my taste. The pulled pork was tasty, but i had better. Love the calamari. The fried brownie was one of a kind delicious!

Following the aquarium, headed to the Ale House. This was a sumptuous meal. Had hamburgers, chicken buffalo sandwich and the guacamole chicken sandwich. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Waiting staff has been very good. Setting had been very clean. Had floor to ceiling windows open to bring extra air to the restaurant. Will surely come back here!

Service was sub par but food was awesome. We sat on the 2nd floor balcony and the views were super nice. The nectarine & cucumber mule was sooo refreshing and the salmon fish and chips were awesome. Would definitely recommend this place if you’re in the Highlands!

Great food, delicious beer and awesome location. The rooftop was close when we came, but Tony offered to take us to the top to see the view of the city after our meal. Once we were at the top he even took some photos of us. Great customer service! We will definitely come back next time we visit Denver!

This has been one of my favorites for years. It had been awhile since I’d been here. Stopped in the other night and it was great! I had two apps (popcorn and pretzels) which were awesome! They had a great beer selection and the service was great. I’ll be back!

Bang for buck is fair for the area. The food it really good and the variety is perfect. Well cooked fries and sweet potato fries (why is it so hard for other restaurants?!) and the Dip I had. The staff was quick and friendly from servers, hosts and bartenders. Great selection and spread of brews and cocktails. Another great venue for Denver.

We sat out on the patio. The chicken flat wrap was delicious. It was served inside naan bread. Love. If you like Mac n cheese, don't leave without trying it out. My brother said his Buffalo Chicken sandwich was the best he had ever eaten. I am totally using my childs lunch choice as an inspiration for future meals at home.

Huge selection of craft beers, and we were there during happy hour, so select beers were $3 for a full pour. Decent food choices even at 10pm, though they do have a limited small plates menu at that time. Our bartender was super nice and took great care of us.

Arrived solo around 5:30 on a warm, cloudy Friday evening and sat at the bar. The ambiance was welcoming with calming music and baseball games on TV. The beer menu had Belgian, Sours, Cider Nitro and Gluten Free Beer and Mead & Kombucha categories. I went with the Platt Park Madagascar Dream ($7-8, Denver, CO) and Ninkasi Oatis ($7-8, Eugene, OR) which I both enjoyed. I ordered the bacon wrapped meatloaf ($17), which the bartender confirmed was an awesome choice, and it absolutely delivered compared to other meatloaf I've had. Also loved the presentation, which had delicious mashed potatoes and asparagus as well. The staff was cordial and attentive, while also being interesting to talk to. One of the girls, Emma, had a tattoo of Mike Jones' infamous phone number, to give an example. She was also a delight. Overall the place is a nice low key dinner or drinks spot, a place I'd go to likely kick off a night or keep it easy going.

Went for lunch; solid service, a nice selection of beer, and a delicious Buffalo fried chicken sandwich (in pic). More expensive than other, local spots, but you come here for a reason.

Food, location, and environment were good. The only hiccup was our server who leaned on our table while breathing all over us without a mask - we could see vapor come from his mouth he was so on top of us. Even in non-covid times, many people don't like their server to lean on their table and mouth breath on everyone - with covid numbers rising, it's ludicrous. Our server was the bartender gentleman with the raspy voice who doesn't respect personal space of his guests.

This place was fantastic. The food was great, the beer was satisfying, and the environment was comfortable. I ordered the shaved prime rib sandwich and it was cooked perfectly and the serving size was on point. I also had a couple Palisade Peach beers and it might be my new favorite beer. It was so smooth, refreshing, and drinkable. The environment was a little bit noisy being so close to the interstate, but having such an open seating area with windows wide open was well worth it. It was very comfortable and spacious, especially for a large dude like myself. There was a little confusion about one of the beers ordered, but the waiter did right by us and ensured he brought out the correct beer and comped the incorrect one. He was very friendly and on top of the service. Overall, the food was great and our experience was fantastic. We spent 3 hours in there visiting with family and at no point did we feel rushed or pushed out. 5/5 stars and we will definitely be back.
