Thirsty Lion Gastropub Union Station - Denver - Photo album

My wife and I have eaten at the Thirsty Lion numerous times. It’s our go to place when we want something quick and easy in Denver. It’s typically easy to find parking nearby and most of the time there is no wait. The food is great and there is a wide variety of choices. In my opinion, they have
Always the best for people watching! And great menu from everything American, Mexican and Asian! Union Station is such a beautiful place with the fountains. Increased security for everyone’s safety. Easy parking.
The food was amazing! We sat out on the patio and really enjoyed the large serving sizes. It was a tad long wait for our food. Almost 45 minutes for a 15% full restaurant, but we were taken care of and had fun.
Recently visited Thirsty Lion Gastropub in Denver and was blown away by their menu. The gojijang pork was perfectly cooked, with a delightful balance of spicy and sweet flavors, while the kimchi fried rice added a zesty, flavorful kick. The Scotch egg was another highlight, with its crispy exterior
Good food, typical bar atmosphere. Normal wait. We came here while waiting for our train, and were pleasantly surprised at the location at the recommendation of a friend.
Lively atmosphere and good food. We stopped here for dinner before a show at the Ball Arena. Restaurant is an 8 minute walk away from the venue. We made a reservation for 4:30 and were seated on time however the place was starting to fill up by the time we were leaving for the show about an hour lat
My salad was good, they tossed it in dressing, well mixed, and the flavors were just right! We also got the queso with chips, it’s was cheesy and satisfying. They have a great drink menu and atmosphere.
This place has perfect atmosphere and the food is delicious and good portioned. I order the spicy chicken with salad and my husband got the gastropub burger. The cocktail I’m not sure 😅 but hour server is so good and always smelling I forgot his name but he wears glasses.
Came to get a scotch egg, it was phenomenal! First one that I've had and I'm a big fan. Great service and a nice space in a nice part of downtown.
Tara went above and beyond making sure that the 5 of us was were well taken care. From the moment we sat down and providing us with water and cocktails to helping us order the exact right thing off the menu. The ahi salad was awesome with the Thai Peanut vinaigrette. Thanks so much for making this a
If you have a hankering for some delicious quality food and a great pub selection then this is the place to go downtown. My wife and I shared the Poke dish and my mother-in-law had the most decadent fish and chips fish. The crisp on the fish was amazing and the Poke was fresh! Look no further than t
It's right next to union station. We got a table on Sunday lunch time really quickly. The food was okay. I had fish and chips. The beer batter was super thick and I got full eating half of the plate. My husband had a burger. It was pretty good. Great selection of beer. Good service. I can't complai
Pretty good food Very limited veggie options on the menu Nice staff, good cocktails
The music was really good, our waitress was super nice and the food was delicious. The fried calamari was not our favorite and we will not order it again, but the fried rice it's delicious (the pork it's spicy) and the burger was magnificent.
Wonderful experience. We were seated promptly upon arrival. Our server was Julia and we were pleased with the way she took care of us. The food was delicious!! The desert was too. Great experience for our first time here.
Loved sitting outside and watching kids play in the fountains. Happy hour food and drinks were great!!
