Kikis Japanese Casual Dining - Denver - Photo album

I almost cried when the food came out. This is the only restaurant I've been to where it feels like a genuine home cooked meal. They are truly a mom and pop shop. I felt nostalgia, warmth, care, and love through the food and I didn't even grow up eating this cuisine. If you've seen Miyazaki's 'whis
Incredibly cozy place. The tofu katsudon was the most comforting meal I've had in years. Like another reviewer said, it felt so nostalgic even though I didn't grow up eating it. Cannot wait to come back!
Kiki's Japanese casual dining is my favorite Japanese restaurant in Denver. Very cute local mom and pop Japanese restaurant. My favorite dish is Tuna bowl with creamy sauce (and extra avocado). kimchi sukiyaki, kimchi yakisoba, spicy green mussels, Japanese fried chicken, assorted pickles, and steak
Small place for authentic Japanese ramen. It reminds me of Domo Ramen place. Some of the differences that I noticed: The pork was not the usual chasiu pork. The soft boiled egg was not marinated in soy sauce. Generous portion on the ramen
One of the few places in Denver to get legit traditional Japanese food. And, it’s really good! If your only experience with Japanese cuisine is in American style sushi establishments then this is the place to expand your horizons. Disclaimer: you’re not going here for ambience unless cluttered quai
We ordered Gyoza, ikayaki (grilled squid), yosenabe x 2, and a Ramune soft drink. Everything was authentically Japanese and delicious. Highly recommend

I got the oyakodon and he got the curry, both were fantastic! Great flavors and good portions. Definitely some of the best mo
First time at Kikis and we were so happy. The food was excellent, the service was great and we liked the atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back.
Felt very homely, was able to get a bar seat without a reservation - but looks like you definitely need one if you need a table, it filled up quick. Salad/miso bar was a nice touch and the chicken katsu curry was incredible!
Highly recommended Katzu Don! The soft shell crab is tasty too, but a little bit pricy.
