Candlelight is my favorite dive bar. It has the "old reliable" feel of older regulars who come in, but draws the attention of younger people who like to play pool and darts. I love taking people here, I always order the burger (it's the best burger in Denver!) The bartenders are so great and friendly. I always love going to Candlelight! <3 love u guys!
Candlelight Tavern was a fun place to stop for a few brews. Prices were good for Denver and overall I thought the beer selection was good for a dive bar. Didn’t try food but will next time.
Bartender was also very nice and welcoming. Will be back.
And unlike most dive bars, they had a bathroom mirror in the men’s room so you could snap a quick selfie for the ‘gram
Best Dive Bar in Denver!!! I went on a Saturday afternoon for a beer and decided to have a burger as well. It was a great burger and it came with chips. I will be stopping again for a cold beer and a game of pool. Btw... the bartender made that place.

The happy hour prices here are crazy cheap. $3.25-3.50 for beers and they even had a carving station going. The horseradish sauce can be a bit intense so I'm getting it on the side this time
Candlelight Tavern is a great place to meet friends. We were there on a Thursday night and the place was still busy. They have some great bar games and their food is amazing. The location is easy to get to, and the bar staff are amazing.
This year I'm thankful for the Candlelight chef. His work in the kitchen is second only to how great of a server he was.
If you haven't been you should go, if you have definitely come back.
Hands-down, one of the best burgers I have had. Heard about it a lot on social media and read it but finally got to try one. My favorite in Denver so far.
By far one of the best dive bars in Denver. Unbelievably good burgers & wings. Everything is fair priced. Fun, laid back atmosphere. It's a low key neighborhood spot with a lot of fun regulars. I've seen some reviews that say the staff is lazy/disrespectful, absolutely not true. Some of the nicest, helpful servers and bartenders in the city. Chris & Steve are the coolest bartenders and so fun to shoot the breeze with. And if you see the owner there, holler at him and he'll for sure buy you a drink & chat it up like anyone else. Highly recommended for a chill, weekday night.
Fun place to catch a lions game or play some pool! Small place, so it can get pretty packed, but it's a nice spot! Has bar food that isn't bad
I’ve been to 20+ dive bars in Denver when we moved from Longmont. This is my top two spot. Good pool, competitive. Darts, foosball, and great atmosphere!

Bar is by itself in a very small, quiet, dark neighborhood; but it stands out with neon lights. Doesn't seem like much when you walk up to it, but once you get inside, it's pretty Lively with 80s music. Small bar with engaging bartenders. Self service at the bar -no waitresses; you do order from the menu also with the bartender. We parked in the neighborhood a block away. We didn't know until we got inside, that they do have a parking lot behind the bar. Great Wings, we will return. This was our first time here
What a great neighborhood bar. The entire staff is very friendly. Met Dave the owner. Super friendly and hospitable. Definitely love every time we come in.
We are from out of town and we walked into this nice establishment and we were greeted with Zach. Zach was not only nice but this guy went out of his way 100percent to make sure we were good. He was also helping the bar staff and he was just amazing. Chris the bartender greeted us and was so nice as well as Scott who was absolutely fabulous. The owners should be so very proud of these men. I have never been to a bar with such amazing, Fantastic Service. You should be so proud of these amazing and wonderful employees not only are they employees but they care about this place. Come Visit Denver, and someday we will be back and we bring our friends .

Sweet dive bar with the best burger in Dever, hell probably best in CO, idk· I added bacon and cheese on mine, and the pickles are actually real! Kiss the cook, I kissed her with a 10 bill just before we left·

Best Jalapeño Cream Cheese burger!!!! The onion ring are great along with the wings.
I crave this meal at least once a month!
This place is awesome and I enjoy coming here from time to time when I’m looking for a lower key spot to drink a beer and enjoy a game or something! Great people that work here, definitely need to try their food next time I visit
