Wow , what a gem of a business. Their baked stuff is the best I have had since I left my native country the Netherlands. The Ham and Cheese croissants are so good , I buy a couple only to eat both of them before I even get home . Very Friendly vibe at the shop, and absolute amazing brownies and blondes. Yes count me as a Fan !!!
After purchasing two pies, cookies and a Yule log from Hinman's bakery, I can only say John and his staff are doing excellent work! These folks really know how to channel their knowledge, skills and passion into baked items with great texture, sweetness and flavor. These items (and the breads) are simply world-class treats!
The cheesecake is to die for....along with some many other yummy goodies!
Gave an artichoke/cheese hand pie and a cherry one too a try at the Montview Preschool carnival on Saturday, went to the storefront today for lunch, I'll be a regular now. Looking forward to trying the sourdough bread ($3 special)
We haven't been to the storefront but we picked up a Cowboy Pie today at Heine's Market and holy moly so delicious. I see a lot more Hinman Pies in our future. The 6" was the perfect size for two people. Can't wait to try more flavors.
Before I even got to try the pie I would have reccomended this biusness to anyone. The owner was so nice and went out of his way to help me for a coworkers birthday even after I showed up at his bakery thinking it was a store front which I was wrong about and would have known if I visited the website. AND THEN I TRIED THE PIES. So Amazing. 100% would recommend!
My fiancé and I ordered an assortment of Hinman’s mini, handheld PieEttes for our engagement party and they were a success! John was easy to work with and the pies were absolutely delicious. 10/10 recommend and will order again!
This place is great! I walked inside was hugged by sweet aroma of pastries. I purchased the key lime pie and it was delicious-- it was the perfect balance of tartness and sweet, I also loved the crust. I want this crust on every single pie I ever have for the rest of my life.
WOW... if you have not tried one of these pies you are truly missing out. I went to the local Heinie's market, Full intentions to purchase a different brand. Someone from Hinman pie was there said "my pies are better". So I tried one. To my surprise he was correct. I have since been back recently, purchased the "green chili pie" out of this world. The cherry fruit pie was one of the best I've ever tasted. Only thing better comes out of my kitchen. Finally, some quality food with quality ingredients. Thank you!
I had the great pleasure of receiving two Hinman pies, cherry and apple, for my birthday. Absolutely 100% delicious! These are some of the best pies I have had in 20 years. Seriously good stuff. Keep up the good work! I will be back.
I came across this place when I was looking to give a friend a pie for his birthday. Well...these guys know pie...sweet pies and savory pies. I have since purchased pie for myself. It does not disappoint. I've had their spinach and artichoke hand pies which are super tasty. The perfect go to item for a light dinner when you're craving some comfort food. Love that they offer their pies in three sizes.
I experienced Hinman hand pies today for the very first time! I picked them up at our local Farmer’s Market. They were awesome! Not too sweet…..just right and the crust was buttery and perfect!! My family enjoyed them and we will be returning customers!
Holy moses, these hand pies are awesome! I ordered a dozen of Hinman's frozen hand pies to bake at home, so happy I did. The Huckleberry is legit wonderful and hard to find here in CO. The crust is flaky and thick, the filling full of fruit and flavorful (and not jelly like cheap store-bought). My only regret is that I didn't place a larger order. Will definitely be coming back.
My husband and I found this bakery at the Pearl Street farmers’ market and are glad we did! The chicken mole and the blueberry pies were delicious! The two women working there were also very kind and personable. We will be back!
While attending the Denver Flea Holiday Craft Fair, we had the opportunity to try, and then purchase several baked items from Hinman's Bakery. WOW!
We purchased and thoroughly enjoyed the Green Chili Pastry, and the Cherry Puff Pastry (sorry if those are not the correct names for the two items), WOW! Flaky crust, crunchy just the right amount of sweetness, and Yummy! Did I mention both were delicious?!

Delicious pies! We had blueberry and salted maple, both fantastic! The owner also went above and beyond to ensure his customers were all satisfied the night before thanksgiving :)
What an amazing addition to the neighborhood! The place is totally unassuming but the food is fantastic. We have been there 2 days in a row at this point and have not been disappointed by anything. We have gotten the meatball sandwich, turkey BLT, and an assortment of sweets. Everything has exceeded expectations. This backery has quickly become a go to place for me.
We ordered the Neapolitan Hand Pies for all our staff for Pi Day and they were soooo tasty! And thank you for delivering in spite of a raging snowstorm! Colorado "small business" Strong!
I'd purchased pies from another bakery for the holiday but we were gifted an assortment of Hinman Pies hand pies by a friend. Long story short the other pies didn't get eaten and everyone raved about how delicious the Hinman's pies were. I don't even normally eat pie but everyone boasted about the "yummy" pies and I just had to try them. Gotta say they were pretty darn good. My family actually got angry that I gifted one of the hand pies to a neighbor. The neighbor later called wanting to know the name and address of the delicious bakery they were from. So happy to find a bakery that we can rely on for all future holidays and well, whenever the mood strikes us.
My now wife and I wanted pie instead of wedding cake. John's hand pies were perfect! Our guests loved them.

THE HANDHELD APPLE PIES!!! OMG! I need everyone to stop what they are doing and grab one expeditiously. My friend and I accidentally walked into a farmers market and by beautiful fate, we stumbled upon this kiosk. I almost walked by but I am glad I stopped long enough to set my eyes on the perfectly created pies. That first bite? Impeccable. The remaining bites? A devastating reminder that it is one bite closer to the last. The buttery taste, and the perfect flaky crust. The plan was to eat it on the drive to the mountains. However, I could not make it a single inch without devouring everything. Do yourself a favor, and GRAB A PIE!
My husband is SUPER picky about pies and actually bakes them well, but sometimes we just need a pie now and we would never buy one anywhere else. Recently, I had an issue with an order for a pie not being done on time. They went above and beyond to make it right. The pastry chef drove the pie to my house that afternoon so it would be there for my husband's birthday dinner AND they called to apologize and refunded me the money for the pie. I'm so grateful for the good pie and service!
