Me and my brother went here Friday night 11/03/2023 around 7-8pm. We were instantly greeted by the workers behind the counter and some that wer sitting at tables. We got the chicken tikka masala with buttered Naan and I got a Dr Pepper. Workers were so friendly and courteous. I loved the big plastic red cups for fountain soda. Dr Pepper was delicious. We sat down and the guy brought our food over. Very friendly, he even asked me if I wanted more rice after we ate a bit. Everything tasted amazing and you can choose ur spice level. Workers gave us nothing but smiles the whole time. When we left we said bye to the amazing staff and they gave us more smiles. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much! (:

I stayed Denver, CO for a week and almost everyday i had a meal there at Zaika restaurant. I took my friends their too. I loved their food. I ordered almost all of their items and enjoyed a lot. The Stuff are really nice and the restrurant is very clean. Most importantly the food is really tasty. Thank you Zaika!

The hot Chai tea was great. The Gobi Manchurian was tasty, I ordered spicy level 3 and it was not spicy at all. It was a little over-sauced, causing it to be soggy. I prefer my Gobi Manchurian crispy. The samosas were perfectly crispy but the filling was a little bland. Staff was friendly. However, the tables needed cleaning and floors needed to be swept, but a couple guys just stood around talking.

Sails is our favorite casual (or fancy) Indian restaurant! I think it’s the loving vibes of the people making the food and running the place that goes into the food to make it the tastiest vegetarian comfort meal in town 🥰 hart-warming chai too and the best naan. Thank you for filling our bellies with love and warmth on cold days

Good food, good service. Nice place. As an Indian, I normally look for spicey food. But my kids like regular Indian food. So my kids like the food but I missed Spicy touch to food which attracts more young and adult foodies. Good experience over all.

Oh what a wonderful diamond to have stumbled upon! I was in the area for something else one night and thought, "Hmm, Indian food does sound good!" So serendipitous indeed! Upon entering, the sweet smell of melding spices hits you right away and while reviewing the menu (I ordered to-go) you can't imagine that anything tastes sub par. I decided on the Chicken Kerala Curry with Garlic naan. While I sat and awaited my order the owner kindly made conversation and made me feel incredibly welcome. It's obvious that each dish is made with love, their secret ingredient. While waiting, I was able to try just one samosa. I thought about placing a full order, at first, but assumed it would be too much food. If there is one takeaway from this review - ORDER THE SAMOSAS!!!!!! These were, by far, the best I've ever had. The outside pastry, which sets the stage for the entire bite, was HEAVENLY! Instead of something doughy, it was buttery and flaky. I literally could have eaten the pastry alone. But no! I was then blessed with a filling to rival all samosa fillings - perfectly spiced, colorful, plentiful and delicious! Heed my words - ORDER THE SAMOSAS!!! I would have taken a photo, but I only got one, and was stopping for no one. After getting home with my order, and just when I thought the samosa would be the crescendo of my meal, I tasted the Kerala curry and ate the first bite with my eyes closed (I've learned that that's the body's way of enhancing your sense of taste - it attempts to dull the other senses). While the chicken was beautifully tender, the curry was drinkably delectable. Just imagine a perfectly spiced curry (mild for me) but enhanced exponentially by just enough coconut milk to sing. The curry was so enchanting that I almost forgot the garlic naan awaiting me... As for the naan, well, a picture speaks 1,000 mouthwatering words. In short, this would be a showstopper at the Gilroy Garlic Fastival. I'm incredibly thrilled that Zaika is less than 1 mile away and open late, because on those evenings where nothing sounds good, Zaika's offerings will ALWAYS hit the spot!

Update 10/5/2020: They replied to my review. I went to lunch there today. Redemption was the meal of the day. We talked and discussed my issue. I had a delicious meal of chicken tikki marsala, naan, samosas and chai tea. It was just as good as I remember. Sometimes there are hiccups but I love a business that cares about their customers. This is such a business. They made the time to make it right 9 months later. I've been working from home so I haven't been there. January 2020 I usually have a wonderful experience here so much so I never have taken pictures of my food because it smells so de delicious I dig in. This was my first not bad but okay experience here. Service was slow even though no one was there. I ordered brown rice there for the first time and it was a mistake. Some of the brown rice was burned. The naan was awesome as usual. The lamb tikki marsala was on point. The mango lassi was yummy but that burnt rice and slow service was on my last nerve. How people got their food before me when I ordered way before them I'll never know but I wasn't impressed. Good price for the food. Casual setting, clean and quiet I'll give them a chance at redeeming themselves. I didn't let them know about the burnt brown rice. I had to go back to work ans as I stated before they were slow on the service side that day so I wasn't going to take a chance on more slowness.

I haven't had a lot of Indian cuisine before but after eating here I can't wait try more. Zaika may have spoiled me from other places though. Service was exceptional and the staff is friendly. The prices and portions are perfect. The food...wow. I took a picture of my Lamb Biyrani. So good, all kinds of different spices. They come together for this amazing aroma that you can't get anywhere else. The lamb is really tender!! If you're worried about heat levels they have different levels for you. Love this place!

I work near Zaika, and i had my options in the area. But i knew that Zaika would be supporting small businesses instead of large chains, or wealthy well off people's investment businesses. I can tell from walking into Zaika, that the people who run it are invested into this small business, and put their heart into everything they do. I enjoyed their tofu Kerala Curry with vegetables. The person who helped me at the counter recommended iptions and changes to my order that made it easy, fast and delicious. My Kerala curry has been the absolute best curry and indian tofu dish i have ever had, and ive had many different indian/malaysian restaurant menus from California to Colorado. It was bright, spicy, and creamy. The perfect comfort food for people of all dietary needs. I was also offered a free drink of tea while i waited for my meal. While i did not wait long, the tea was so wonderful and comforting i think id go back just for the tea even if i was not hungry. If you were not sure where to eat and you landed on this review, you already knew you were interested, now you have proof that it's worth the first try.

The restaurant service is really good. Staff is welcoming and helpful. However, the food was fine but little bit spicy for us. We tried Lamb Biryani, Gobi Manchurian and Chili Chicken. Overall experience was nice.

I haven't had good Indian food in so long. I've been trying new places, and this place beat them all. Service was great, food was perfect, everything I had surpassed me expectations.

I went here for the first time with my family and what matters most to me in a restaurant, is how good the food is and environment. We ordered a variety of foods and they were no doubt delicious! All my cravings had went away, the food was just that good. I’d recommend cleaning up the place a bit more for a better environment but overall the food is amazing!!

Good Indian food is really hard to find in Denver/ This place has become our favorite Indian restaurant in denver. I really appreciate the actual spice and that the food isn’t overly sweet. We’ve had the chicken biryani, bhindi, bharta, onion pakora, and paneer.

The first person you see upon entrance is the cashier and she's super pleasant, kind and very easy to talk to. I had the Tandoori Chicken. It was very flavourful and it came with veggies,Naan and a very nice yogurt dipping sauce. First time I've ever seen these side dishes encluded without asking and paying $$ more for your meal. Simply a nice experience!
