A neighborhood staple for pizza, Italian Village offers other dishes as well. Specialty slices are $5 each. The pizza has a good crust, decent sauce, and the best part is that they don’t skimp on the toppings.
First timer for lunch. Tried a plain cheese slice because if they can't do that right then there's no point. Clean place, busy, attentive & friendly staff. Lots of room to sit in the back. Crushed red peppers were hot/fresh. My wife tried a pineapple-ham slice. She liked it. The cheese slice was excellent, a solid four star pizza. Took some Sicilian slices to go. Heated them up the next day and while not a "true" Sicilian pie it was very good. Again a solid four star slice. Solid NYC pizza joint. Give it a try.
Everything about this restaurant is incredible! From the minute you walk in the front door you can smell the delicious pizza in the cases. Pizza is fresh and toppings are plenty. The back room can be used for parties, our family has had several parties and the service and atmosphere make you feel welcome and like family. The owners are hands on and attentive and the quality and freshness of their dishes are top shelf. I have been meaning to write a review for a while now but our family just had dinner and I wanted to share the exceptional experience as well as a photo of the special I ordered, gnocchi with prosciutto peas and almonds in a creamy sauce. So good! If you are in the neighborhood make sure you try Italian Village and I'm sure you will become part of their family too!
I love this place! It's been 3yrs and the pizza is still amazing. They survived Covid-19 and still pumping out the best pizza in NYC. If you are staying in the upper Eastside of Manhattan you have to stop by and grab a slice.
The best slice I’ve had in a long time! Pizza was hot and fresh ( Something you don’t find very often anymore). Was so good I had to grab a to go order for myself and the kids. I look forward to checking out the rest of the menu.
Best, most consistent pizza on the UES, and their Buffalo Chicken slice is probably the actual best slice in the city. Other food (Chicken Parm) is great too, and delivers well!
I've been a regular at this place since 2015. They've recently changed location, moving just one block south to a corner location, and it's beautiful. More importantly, food is still incredible. My favourites include the chicken parm hero, ask for a dash of buffalo sauce in it as well. Regular pizza slice is great. The best buffalo slice I've had. Pastas are very good too, I enjoy the penne marinara, rigatoni alfredo, penne pesto.
Born and raised on the UES. This pizza takes the prize for sure, amazing taste and fair prices, can’t ask for much more. Everything we have tried on the menu has been spot on, and always service with a smile….Owner and staff are unreal and go the extra mile , hats off to place….
The pizza options at this place aren’t my favorite on the Upper East Side, but I gave the buffalo chicken pizza a try, and it was pretty good! Both the toppings and the crust were tasty. They also give generous portions of garlic knots. The flavor was pretty good, but they were slightly on the hard side. They did not provide any sauce with the garlic knots. They accept cards here.
We thoroughly enjoyed this place. It was my first time in NYC and first timing having NY style pizza!

The pizza is amazing! I am from Florida and this is actually the first place I went to eat to when I went to NYC. I eat a lot and didn't even feel stuffed. The chicken wings are great as well. They do take a bit to get the food but it's fresh. Can't wait to go back to NYC and go back to Italian Village Pizza!

Great pizza and great service! I called to order a pizza that was uncut because of my compromised immune system from cancer. They were extremely courteous and happy to do so. Highly recommend Italian Village Pizza.

Great place for slices of pizza. Crust is absolutely amazing - nice and crispy, and the sauce is very good. Toppings and cheese all stay on the slice (don't slide off, not too greasy)...
Overall, these pizza slices get top marks from me. Very fresh, and the employees are very kind.
