So many great food items. So many GF options!! Amazing wines. And occasional live music on a charming patio!

Me and my wifes first visit here and was blown away by its all around service! Our waitress was polite and the food was great. Never thought I would like someone elses Deviled eggs other than my mom's.... lol My favorite appetizer on the menu..

The shrimp and grits were very tasty. I always love being served cold water in a heavy glass bottle. So refreshing. The bar tender waiting on a small table in the corner has a tendency to forget about you.
My half glass of Moscato was $10, but I felt everything else was fair priced. Great food, Jazz, and service!

We love it here! We also love Lisa as our waitress. She is amazing and knows exactly what we want and explains the new seasonal dishes when we want something new! I’ll be back of course but I do wish you had a location in Waukee or closer still.

Just ate at Louie's Wine Dive for the first time tonight. Our food was very good BUT our waiter John made the whole night. We will be going back and asking for John again.

My friend had her favorite burger, cheese curds, and Brussel sprouts.
Service was very nice and very accommodating.
Menu had lots of amazing choices. Many things from gluten free options to seafood, and salads.
Although lots of items with cheese/dairy.
It would be challenging for a plant based patron to enjoy anythjng more than a side or salad.
Would love to see a delicious crafted full plant based dish.

Environment was loud and busy. I can see why everyone loves it here.

Went here for my prom dinner and it was delicious! They had the most amazing mock tails and my had ginger beer which was amazing since I haven’t had any since my trip to the UK. The fish and chips were also delicious as well as my friends' salad which I tried a bit of. The service was amazing and we got sat immediately even though we were a little early for our reservation. Definitely will be coming again!

The result of a spur of the moment date night destination, we tried Louie’s for dinner. They were completely booked and we did not have reservations, but they were able to find us space at the bar. Despite the full venue, it felt cozy rather than crowded which was wonderful.
Megan (I didn’t catch the spelling, so I apologize if this is incorrect) served us and she was absolutely PHENOMENAL. I mean, they were filled to the brim and she still went out of her way to be proactive and attentive to our needs. Perfect amount of interaction—friendly, and even though we were at the bar we never felt like she was hovering—and fabulous service. We ordered a feature soup, but when it wasn’t what we expected (nothing wrong with the preparation, just different flavours than we were wanting) and she didn’t hesitate to remove it from our ticket. Completely unexpected, I was sincerely impressed. Her service definitely made our night special.
While the service was the highlight of our evening, I also need to note that they are super gluten-free friendly. The sheer variety was a special treat for us (not having to sacrifice on flavour, etc. due to dietary restrictions).
Overall, fantastic experience and will undoubtedly be repeat customers. Thank you, Louie’s!!
Fun, neighborhood bar & restaurant. Wonderful staff, nice little patio for outdoor seating & beignets for dessert. They make the beignets fresh, so you have to wait for them - so order them early - well worth it!
