"Get the walleye" I was told several times when I was planning my first visit to Don's and boy am I glad I did!!!
It was absolutely amazing and so fresh.
The menu has an amazing assortment of choices and I even chatted it up with Donna for quite some time and promised her I'd be back!
You have to love a place where you know the food is fresh and you also can make new friends.....this may just be a weekly stop for this gal! :)
Don's is forever and always killing the seafood game. Day off, drove about an hour to pick up popcorn shrimp, perch, a lobster roll meal & blown-up fish chip meal. The last 2 are November specials. All the food was scrumptious, delicious, and man...the blown-up fish chip meal is a deal! My family loves this place and they give us so many reasons to.
Delicious food and friendly service. I had a pick up order and was on my way home when the guy who gave me my food called. He apologized profusely that they missed the crabcake I ordered. I wasn't too far gone so I turned back to pick it up. They made me a 2 fresh crabcakes which they honestly didn't need to. This place is always busy and the fact that they called me immediately was extremely awesome of them.
Nice place for Louisiana cooking.. Alligator Po Boy is real good.

Celebrate MARDI GRAS 2021 with you appetite! I LOVE the COCONUT SHRIMP and BREAD PUDDING! Don't forget the Oysters on the Half Shell Yum! AMAZING!
I had the most delicious lobster and macaroni.They weren't kidding when they described this heavenly creamy creation as not your mom's mac and cheese. Lots of real lobster throughout this delectable dish sprinkled with panko bread crumbs and a brandy cheese sauce. I can't wait to enjoy this dish again in the near future. I highly recommend you give it a try.
I think they need a few more servers. Had to wait. But the food was pretty good. So I can forgive.
Best Dam food at a reasonable price... remember people its sea food not McDonald's!! Again they get the orders right and they are always so nice and friendly. The fried food is not greasy. Lots of flavor and food comes out reasonably fast! Love it!!!
