We had the preset menu, every dish was amazing. Jack was our waiter, if you request him you won’t be sorry. It’s a great atmosphere.
Great restaurant nestled in an old home in Detroit behind the Fisher. The food was spectacular and the service was top notch. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Wonderful atmosphere, excellent server and a fabulous meal! Highly recommend!
I loved the ambiance of the house,
Our food was excellent, Justin, our waiter,
was top notch. Very inviting staff.
The decor in the big room in the back,
was not cohesive with the rest of the
house, was my only negative.

We love this place! Food is delicious, service is friendly and personal and top notch. Cocktails are excellent. Love the ambiance, especially on the closed in porch. Definitely try the pea soup with seafood and the Grand Mariner soufflé. Ask for Tony!
Always loved this spot... the chef did a great job with the tenderloin and the A5 Wagyu! Sarah is a rockstar bartender and the hostess was incredibly accommodating.
Food and service was wonderful with a great ambiance. Charcuterie board, duck and halibut was our favorite. Missed a cheese option on the dessert menu. A perfect dinner date before going to see Les Mis at the Fisher Theater! Thank you! We will be back.
We had such a lovely dining experience at Cuisine restaurant for our anniversary. The food was phenomenal , the decor is elegant but comforting and the staff is very kind and helpful. We had a wonderful 2 year celebration!
Still one of the Motor City's finest restaurant. Chef Paul really is dedicated to his craft.
Every time my wife and I go to the Theater we must stop at our favorite place Cuisine
Excellent service. Excellent food. I had steak which was cooked perfectly and pre-cut, which I really liked. My wife had stuffed egg plant which was also delicious.
Paul Grosz is one of Detroit’s greatest culinary minds and treasures. Any evening at Cuisine is cherished and well spent
Oh my from the moment we walked thru the door I felt like we walked into a lovely home. The hostess and our server were excellent and seemed happy to have us there. My friend and I were dining before going to the Fischer to see Book of Mormon. We both had the Beef Tenderloin cooked to perfection with wonderful sides and a seasonal apple cobbler for desert. Perfection!! Plan to take my husband sometime.
Wonderful staff, ambiance, cocktails and food. This gem in a vintage Detroit home is well worth repeated visits.
Surprisingly good. I didn't know what too expect but the food and drinks are top notch.
Went in there with my wife and the food melted in your mouth full of flavor. Service is wonderful too.
My partner and I came here for my birthday, and again for New Years Eve not three weeks after our initial experience. Chelsea took fabulous care of us; we selected the tasting menus available on both occasions, and she was attentive, kind, helpful, and just generally incredibly pleasant. Will be back, and will be asking for Chelsea!
Excellent Grouper Friday night. In fact all 3 courses were outstanding! The service was amazing as was our server. Hats off to the chef and owner for such a delicious culinary experience. For my first time there, I was impressed. Highly recommend this establishment before an event at the Fischer.
Edit: We came here for the first time in a while. Everything was still delicious, but it was disappointing that their menu was very limited, they didn’t have a la carte and only had a 3-course tasting menu. The portions were not enough so we were not full after finishing our meal. The seats by the windows were too dark.

Everything was delicious, we loved especially the cream spaghetti with caviar. I wish I could have taken the rest of the bread as it was great as well.
So i did love the ambiance of the place. The wine was good. Brussels Sprouts were really good as well as the Potato leek soup. The beef tenderloin i didn't really like. That was my fault though because i didnt ask before hand how it was cooked and it was rarer than i would've liked it to be. And the dessert; not exactly sure what was going on there.
Cuisine one of Best Detroit restaurants. Roasted oysters, Hamachi crudo, Sea Bass w/ shaved black truffle, A5 Kobe, Grand Marnier Souffle; Forget about it!! Perfect!
Had their Mother's Day special. Green and white asparagus with a yummy morel sauce, Soft shell crab with julienne carrots, a side of saute fiddleheads (a rare treat!). For dessert was an espresso custard. We had a wonderful champagne with dinner that they recommended; it was very good. Of course they had a few other options for appetizer, entree and dessert, but I would have this meal again.
Very delicious French cuisine food
Very good customer service
And the price is reasonable
Evenings that there is a show at the fisher theater, only the tasting menu is available until about 7:30 when the rush clears.
I mainly felt compelled to review to clarify that.
We did have a nice experience there tonight; the waitress was great, the food was good, but overall 4 star quality when compared to other restaurants we've gone to around this price point (D. Prime, G.T. Prime, Gordon Ramsay Steak, etc.)
