Traveling to and from IL to IA to see our college student, the Dodgeville A&W is always a planned stop. The burgers are fantastic and cheese curds delicious. Small town feel with extremely friendly employees really make this place a great stop for a bite. Stop and try the Dodgeville A&W!
The food was great and the staff were friendly, they seemed a bit short staffed for the amount of business they had at the time of my visit, which caused a little longer wait times but it's becoming the new norm. I don't hold anywhere responsible for lack of staff, since everywhere is lacking staff.
The food is good but the service is REALLY slow, even if you only want a shake. We waited over 30min for 2 shakes and a fry. It wasn't even that busy.
