Can’t wait to come back here again! Everything we ordered and drank was incredible! The steak was perfectly cooked. Everything was super flavorful. AND the staff were so amazing and attentive. Definitely worth the wait to sit outside in the back!

The environment is half local gathering whole and half romantic small cute culinary restaurant and separate bar area. I loved the people and the vibe as much as anything else! Highly recommend

Everyday People Cafe is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. Great food, great service, great location. If going for dinner, start with some cocktails, then go for the tuna appetizer, and I personally like the pork chop as a main. They are frequently changing / innovating their menu. I really like their wine list, some good value priced bottles, and also some nicer bottles to splurge. They also have a great brunch on Sundays, can't miss. They are GREAT at following COVID protocols.

Matt was making ribs on the grill the day we stopped by and they were delicious. The food off and on the menu was great. Not a bad word to say about this place. Local favorite and a great place to take friends and family when in town. Wish they had more staff to accommodate more people but I understand how hard times are. The crème brûlée with puff pastry and raspberry sauce was to die for! The chicken and ricotta dumplings was perfect, light and satisfying.

My Hotwife and I have dined at Everyday People Cafe twice in the past three weeks. Both experiences were fantastic. Great food and service was spot on. Our first server Michael was pleasant and very helpful with the questions we had concerning the menu entres. Michael has been working there for ten plus years and very professional making sure we were satisfied. Tonight we had the pleasure of being served by Taylor and really enjoyed her as well! They do change their menu items every few weeks which makes it fun to try something different when we went back. Remember that when looking up their menu on line as we found it wasn't updated. They have a QR code at each table to view the menu on your phone which is a brilliant idea during this pandemic. The only slight negative was they do charge for three rolls. Yet not worth knocking off a star on their review. The cozy outdoor seating on the back patio with the lights in the trees prompted a romantic experience for us😉. We'd like to try some other establishments in Douglas/Saugatuck. However, I'm certain we'll return to the Everyday People Cafe!

Sides were amazing, the 5-spice duck quarter was awesome. The duck breast was chewy and rubbery. My filet was way overdone, I liked the crisp outside. They did remedy this. The crab cake had good flavor, however the sauce for it was to thick and mediocre. The dressed arugula with it was a much better bite.

Kind and understanding service. In the heart of the lgbtq community, having a family with a couple young kids, we felt welcome. The food was your typical gourmet affair. Atmosphere was loud and friendly. Roasted chicken was tasty and astute. The cosmos packed a punch.

Our daughter had made plans for us to have her birthday lunch at another establishment in town, but they were closed for the winter season so we decided to try Everyday People Cafe and we loved it. We were presented the brunch menu, available on the weekends, and everyone enjoyed their plates. We did not take advantage of the Unlimited Bubbles option available as an add-on price to any meal. I had the Chilaquiles Verdes, and we also sampled the EPC Burger and the American Wagyu steak sandwich. The children had the Waffles with bacon added. The bacon strips were really thick cut and cooked perfectly. The waffles were large, but very light and crispy. The syrup was absolutely amazing! I wish I could have gotten a bottle to take home. I thoroughly enjoyed the chilaquiles verdes. The eggs were sunny side up with firm but not hard yolks. The poblano green chili sauce was delicious. We informed our waitress that we were pressed for time, and she confirmed that there were no kitchen orders ahead of us even though the place was full, so we were able to get our orders and be finished in about 40 minutes. The tablecloths were covered with butcher paper and the children were given crayons to draw while we waited on our food. We still plan to come back and try the other establishment when they reopen next season, but we are super glad that we got the opportunity to try EPC!

Place is nice right in downtown area. Brunch was great. And it was at 11:00 despite what GMaps says :) . Would be perfect if the hostess was a little more friendly and comunicative.

Was craving some mashed potatoes. I ordered their delicious chicken over mashed potatoes served with a tastey salad and a Hendricks, tonic with lime... hit the spot :) And its just 10 minutes from where we are staying at Saugatuck Cottage Suites Great hiking, great weather, and now an awesome meal at Everyday People to cap off the weekend:)

I almost left before ordering because the process seemed high, but then what prices aren't? Went a little lighter than I normally do and was impressed with the tastes and variety of what we ordered. And two desserts. We will be returning when we are in Douglas again.

Repeat visitor as often as we are on that side of the State. There isn't anything on the menu that isn't 5 stars or above. Simply stellar!!

Got the lamb/beef meatballs appetizer and roasted chicken entree. Food was excellent, limited menu and some entrée were pricey bit good experience overall.

After a 2h 40m drive, we enjoyed this beautiful restaurant. We had an amazing greek salad and a large hamburger cooked perfectly medium well with fried onion crisp. Male waiter was decent, but obviously eager to end his shift.🤣 I will definitely return.

If ever your visiting Saugatuck and the restaurants are full. Head over to Douglas and Everday People has indoor and outdoor spaces. Their staff is extremely accommodating and the food is delightful.
